Tuesday 9th April
B: Porridge some honey and blueberries. Tea with milk.
L: Flatbread topped with smoked salmon, soft cheese, watercress and 2 tangerines
D: Chicken & veg fried rice
Sn: Square of cheese and onion quiche, Dr Karg Cheese cracker, an apple. Tea with milk.

Wednesday 10th April
B: Oatibix topped with hot milk & blueberries

L: Ham, salad roll. 2 Tangerines
D: Salmon and veg stir fry and rice.
S: Dr Karg cracker, cracker with jam, an apple, half a glass of chocolate milkshake. Tea with milk
 
Thurs 11th April
B: Oatibix with milk and fresh raspberries
L: Yesterday's salmon stir fry with rice
D: Pan fried pork chop, pineapple slices, watercress served with rice
S: Chocolate covered almonds, 2 brazil nuts, 3 crisps.

Fri 12th April
B: Lean bacon with watercress in a buttered wholemeal roll. Tea with milk
L: Ham and egg sandwich, half a packet of sour cream sunbites
D: Homemade turkey rogan josh inspired curry, rice and half a tandoori roti (from take away)and 2 pieces of lamb tikka (from take away)
S: An apple. Quarter piece of cod in batter taken from hubby's plate :p

Sat 13th April
B: Bacon and fried egg in a seeded sub roll with seeded butter. Tea with milk.
L: Rice noodles in soup broth with turkey patty and veg
D: Oven baked trout with cherry tomatoes, rice and mixed green veg. Diluted diet lemonade with sparkling water -(tasted over sweet)
S: Pear, someone's homemade ginger cake, a bite of cheese burger, 3x garibaldi biscuits, a packet of frazzles.

This morning I had a 3 egg (2 yolks, 3 whites) omelette with lean bacon, onions, potatoes, red peppers and coriander, served with yogurt. Tea with milk.

I didn't like the coriander with the egg, just tasted a funny mix. I should have used spinach or leeks if I had any.

I had a weigh in this morning and looks more encouraging, i've been more scrict with portions and eating more wholefoods, hope it continues!
 
Sun 14th April
I didn't get to have time for lunch, but I did have a huge omelette as a late breakfast with a tea with milk.
Dinner was a tomato-ey turkey curry with some chips, onion salad, cottage cheese.
S: Dr Karg cracker, a share of a small caramel ice cream cone.

Mon 15th April
B: Alpen with milk. Tea with milk.
L: Roast chicken salad, an orange.
D: Beef stew with foccacia bread.
S: Fun size milky way, cream cracker, Dr Karg cracker.

Tues 16th April
B: Alpen with milk, tea with milk
L: Chicken kebabs with rice and hot pepper sauce
S: 3 small apples, lime cordial.

D: Beef stew, rice.
S: Peanut butter on wholemeal bread, orange, Peppermint tea

Wed 17th April
B: Toast with marmite, ham and cottage cheese. Tea with milk.
L: Beef stew, rice
D: Jerk chicken, rice and onion salad and beetroot
S: An apple, an orange, rich tea biscuit, tea with milk.

Thurs 18th April
B: Peanut butter on wholemeal toast. Tea with milk.
Mid morning snack: An orange, dr karg pumpkin cracker, holy basil tea
L: Bean salad, green salad with left over jerk chicken
D: Jacket potato with chilli con carne, topped with cheese and salad; tomatoes and cucumber.
S: 2 small chicken wings, 1 locket, diet lemonade diluted with lots of ice.

Fri 19th April
B: Peanut butter on 1 slice of toast. An orange and tea with milk.
L: Jacket potato with chilli con carne, watercress and cherry tomatoes
D: Ate out Japanese assorted fish on rice, maki, miso soup, green tea
S: Blueberries, rice cakes,marmite. Peppermint tea.

Sat 20th April

L: Ate out Thai- Papaya salad, chicken wrapped in pandan leaves, diet coke.
D: Fish fingers, baked beans, wedges
S: Chocolate covered brazils, Actimel.

Still trying to update my past few days food....

Sun 21st April
B: Wholemeal toast with ham and eggs. Tea with milk.
L: New potatoes, salad with something else but I can't remember what it was.
D: Hubby made chicken satay with peanut sauce, rice and leafy salad. Tom yum soup.
S: Sensation crisps. Green tea

Back to eating crisps :(

Mon 22nd April
B: Boiled egg and toast. Blueberries. Tea with milk.
L: Half a ham & salad sandwich. An orange. 2 rice cakes with cottage cheese.
D: Pasta stir fry with chicken and veg -I used it like I would have used noodles
S: Seeded crackers, crisps, an apple.

Tues 23rd April
B: Grilled tomatoes, lean bacon and mushrooms. Tea with milk.
L: Homemade pasta salad with salmon, then I had another lunch!! A M&S nutty grain pot with quinoa... so so yummy!
D: Pan fried tuna steak on a rice salad
S: 5 chocolate eclairs... the sweet not the pastry. A small Jacket potato skin filled with tuna mayo and salad. More Thai Chilli sensations- about half a bag's worth. Holy basil tea.

Wed 24th April
B: Nut cereal with milk. Tea with milk. A pear.

There was lots of salad bits with satay meal and corinader on the soup but added after taking photo- looks mega unhealthy without the extra colour!

Breakfast- 1 slice whole meal toast with peanut butter.

Throughout the day- banana, apple, egg, fruit and nut mix, craisins, 7 veg cottage pie and broccoli

Late tea due to gym classes- sandwich, salad, low fat crisps and low fat ice cream.
 
Wednesday's lunch was similar to last night's dinner, instead of tuna steak, I had smoked salmon and crab sticks.
D: Spaghetti carbonara with lots of green veg - mainly asparagus and green beans
S: Walker's Sensations - thai chilli. 1 chocolate eclair. 2 apples, 1 grapefruit
 
Thurs 25th April
B: Smoked salmon on wholemeal toast, tea with milk
L: Carbonara, with lots of green veg and leafy salad
D: Chicken marinated in hoi sin sauce on skewers, rice and salad
S: M&S Nutty Grain lunch pot

Fri 26th April
B: Beans on Toast, Pear
L: Rice with cold roast chicken and side salad
D: Grilled pork chop, cous cous mixed with cauliflower & spinach and a side of baked beans
S: Red wine, Milka chocolate, walkers sensations...

Sat 27th April
B: Rice Cakes with marmite, green tea - something light as I was going to play badminton
L: Quorn mince and bacon fried rice with mixed veg
D: Ate out - Assorted sushi... sake
S: Cheese & pickle sandwich. An apple and a banana.

Sun 28th April
B: Bacon and egg sandwich
L: Ate out Wahaca; Grilled Beef steak, coleslaw, diet coke
D: Tagliatelle with mussels in garlic sauce, and a starter of a dressed crab
S: Wholenut chocolate - 2 squares

Mon 29th April
B: Fruit salad; strawberries and blackberries mainly and a rice cake later on
L: 1/3 of Waitrose Quinoa and Bulgar wheat pouch mixed in with green beans, cucumber and cold roast chicken. Diet Coke
D: Take out 1/2 lamb saag with white rice and some chicken tikka. Natural yogurt.
S: Actimel, glass of milk. Probably ate about 3 or more rice cakes - plain - wanted something light just before badminton training.

Tues 30th April
B: Ham, cheese and spinach sandwich. Green tea
L: Lamb saag, rice and added lots more green veg; peas, green beans, sugar snap peas, cucumber and cherry tomatoes.
D: Veg stir fry, small portion of rice and 3 oven baked ribs marinated in hoi sin sauce.

Thanks for the compliments and comments guys :)

Being on this healthy eating forum can be very lonely so today could be the last time I post on this site for a while as I'm going to join a Slimming world session tomorrow. I really didn't think I would be using a club for weight loss, thinking I could do it alone, but I have found it quite difficult to do it on my own. There's a couple of girls at work that are starting Slimming World tomorrow and so I said I would give it a go at finding a club that has meetings on Tuesday too, as I think I need a bit of structure now.

I hope to still have photos of food on my new food diary, which may or may not be of interest to you, the links can be found in my signature. I could still return to post, maybe on days when I need a bit of flexibility or need a break?! :p Thank you for looking at my food diary! :)
 
Slimming World plan didn't work that well for me, I struggled with it :( I'm back here now :)
