No danger but it might affect taste I bought some BL bars from AF and they're vile by comparison to the shop bought ones

I'm sorry to hear that, were they very out of date? The dates I checked on these ones were March 2012 and November 2011, I didn't look at them all.

Its a shame it put you off using them, i have been using them for years and never have had a problem with anything i have bought off them. I have saved fortunes. I must say though if my first order had inedible stuff, it would prob have put me off. I say give them another go. Just bought a load of the slimm stuff myself, very cheap and will see how it goes

oh poo. The mint ones are what I've ordered! These have an expiry date of early Jan so I was hoping that they'd be ok. Guess I'll just have to see when they turn up!

If you have a problem with items you have bought, why not ask for a refund? They are pretty good at sorting out problems. Tbh, if its a very small amount of money I've spent I don't bother. Eg they've got some very out of date organic cous cous so I ordered a quids worth and as I expected it was indeed not very good. But another time they got hold of a lot of soya milk that was supposed to be kept refrigerated and I bought a LOT expecting it to be an ambient variety. They refunded myself and others who had bought it immediately it was bought to their attention. I have had refunds for other items damaged on delivery.

I have no interest in advertising this company, just found something they were selling that could benefit people here. I'm sorry if what you buy is no good.

The email address to use in case of problems with AF is sales at approvedfood.co.uk

Well I'll wait for them to arrive and see what I think. It's my first order with them and I bought a load of things in addition to the BL bars. Probably spent £20 on the BL products as I bought some snack bars ready for when I start to step up too. If things don't work out I'll contact them but maybe not buy from them again.
