It is a high protein diet rather than a VLCD. Good Luck though!
The Eurodiet is a VLCD, the calories are between 600 to 800 a day. I've been on it for 3 weeks now and lost 17lbs, which is half way towards my first target. I attend a clinic weekly for weigh in and also general advice & discussion. I'm thoroughly delighted so far and am just concentrating on each individual goal. I've always battled with my weight, in fact since I was 10 years old and each time I'd start yet another diet, my mind would always be set on the ultimate goal of 'normal weight' - which never happened for me. Thanks :)

All VLCDs are a maximum of 800 calories a day - and most are more like 600. Some people in the medical community frown upon this approach but I have to say that I have never felt healthier than for the 10 months that I was in ketosis.Quote:

Hi Periwinkle, yes I'm going to an Orsmond Clinic in Dublin. Last Thurs was 6th week and I'm down 25.5lbs. My losses are significantly slower than expected <sigh> - but I've had a serious weight problem since childhood and never achieve great losses regardless of what plan.
What about you, how are you doing?
