Hi, I'm new to these forums, and I'm just after some advice really. I'm looking to loose some weight as fast as possible. Now I know im going to get the lecture, about how weight loss should be gradual, but I'm going on holiday in a month so want to shift those extra pounds.

I used to eat and drink a lot of rubbish, takeaways, late night cheese sandwiches, beer, wine etc. It's day 4 and i've stopped that completely and have started exercising everyday (only 20 mins a day, but thats all i can manage at the moment).

Anyway, as I said, i've stopped eating all the crap and my diet now consists of 2 cans of heinz soup a day, bulked out with mixed veg. For lunch, I add some pasta for the carbs as im exercising more.

However, it's getting hard as im now getting really hungry. so What i've done is make my own soup by buying mixed bags of frozen veg, adding some pepper, onions and garlic and freezing it. I plan on snacking on this when I get hungry, but no later than 9 in the evening.

The last time I weighed myself I was 95kg. That was 6 months or so ago, so im probably well over 100kgs now. With this new diet, how much weight do you think I can loose in 4 weeks?

Yes, thank you... Thats what I said, i've made my own soups that im snacking on. and I forgot to mention, im also snacking on bananas and apples. anyway, will I loose a fair amount of weight over the next 4 weeks?
 
There's a good chance you'll make yourself ill your body will go into starvation mode and you won't lose.
What you're eating can by Jo stretch of the imagination be classed as a proper diet. Even if you do lose anything starving yourself it'll go straight back on as soon as you start eating again

Even adding fruit youre eating nowhere enough. If you want a fast weight loss then try a VLCD like slim & save or Cambridge
 
Hi there. I'm new to the site today. I lost 6.5 stone on a VLCD and although I never put all the weight back on I need to lose 2 stone so am going back to one of these diets. I hope to lose a stone in 14-20 days. I am using a new brand called 'ideal weight loss'. The shakes are delicious and very filling. These type of diets are much safer than trying it yourself as they provide you with your rda's of vits and minerals. I felt amazing after a couple of weeks and with ideal I was not hungry either.
 
You can fill yourself up on fresh fruit and vegatables, eat as much as you like. Cut out the processed junk. You will lose weight rapidly and healthily. simples :)
