Its not that I'm hungry, I just WANT naughty foods. Hubby and daughter have no problems with their weight, so when they suggest going out for a curry or ordering a pizza...its tough!! I'm wanting chocolate and sweets a lot and that is not like me. Very odd!!

Maintaining is a whole new battle and it might be better to face your appetite demons before you get there. |

My Mood: Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() ![]() Diet: healthy eating | Lipobind - Not worth all the fuss Well, have been on lipobind for a while now, and I think I can very safely say it makes no difference whatsoever. To be honest I think its all psychological - I was wanting it to suppress my appetite, so I imagined it was, but I wont be buying anymore. I havent been taking them regularly in the past couple of weeks and am still losing weight, so basically ive paid £50 for two boxes of.....nothing! Ive realized that I am capable of doing this without pills so I will just carry on doing what Im doing. I do take a couple if ive had a seriously fatty meal, because I do think they are good for helping maintain, but with regards to helping with weight loss and appetite suppression...I think ive wasted my money! To think that I was panicking when i finished my first box! I can do fine without them! Maybe my willpower is getting stronger when i see the number on the scales go down every week??? xxx |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Proactol does seem to be working for me. Although I didnt really know it was an appetite reducer - I thought it stopped fat from being absorbed! I have using since mid April and lost more weight in the first few months. Then throughout June my weight stayed the same, it didn't drop at all. But over the last month or so I have been losing a couple of pounds per week. I am not really altering what I eat too much but avoiding fast food and cutting back on alcohol. Maybe I hit the weight loss plateau and come through the other side. Changing the subject has anyone tried the Lipo Contour Body Shaper. |

I too don't use them to surpress my appetite, I have them on standby and if I eat a meal which has a high fat content then I have 4 or 5 tablets. I think they are a fab aid for maintenance.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | You use Proactol and Lipobind - I didnt think it was a good idea to mix tablets. The thing that made me choose Proactol was they didnt use any of the outlandish claims that several other companies use, like lose 10lbs a week etc. My expectation level was set to months rather than weeks. Overall I more than pleased and should hit my target weight xmas ...then probably put it all back on again knowing me lol. I nearly bought Lipovox but thank god Id didn't. All the conversations seem to be about how to send them back and get a refund. |

What you said about wanting sweets and chocolate - I found strange because thats exactly the same as me and it's very rare for me to eat chocolate but I have these cravings as well. Must be something to do with the Lipobind uh? ![]() Steffie | |

My Mood: Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I have been taking Lipobind for a week now and I have lost a total of 5lbs, which I am really impressed with. I have not exercised this week (work has taken over my life at the moment) but I have tried to eat more healthly. I have noticed that I get full a lot quicker then before and thus I am satisfied with smaller portions. I also don't get cravings either. For the first couple of days I did get constapation as many who have tried Lipobind have experienced. However this was soon sorted out with taking ExLax for a couple of nights, and now I have no problems. So all in all I can only sing the praises of this product. I think its important that you try and eat healthly and drink plenty of fluid to see the maximum benefit of this product. I have tried eating healthly & decreasing my portions before, but the weightloss was nowhere near as successful as has happened with this product. Thus I can only dervive that I have been able to shift 5lbs in 1 week too Lipobind. I agree, it is on the expensive side. But I also look at it as if I was at the gym 1 months mebership would equal the cost of the tablets for 1 month. As I don't have the time to go to the gym as often as possible I see this as better value for money. I will make an effort to exercise next week, so it will be interesting to see how much weight I will lose then. It's a shame that not everybody who has tried this has had the same positive experience. But, as may have already been mentioned, what works for one person may not always work for another. |
