Diary of a hopeless dieter

Well I've recently gained weight and my size 12 jeans don't fit I've no ideal how much I weigh but I know it's bad!!

Anyway I've taken xenical and alli pills in the past with great effects so I wanted to try these again.

Just one problem is that I take levothyroxine for hypothyroidism. I've researched online and as far as I can see if you leave at least 4 hours from taking thyroxine and having the alli pill it should be ok. But it does say that to have monitoring of thyroid function while using them.

So I've booked doctors appointment for today to speak to them and see if its safe to take and if they will monitor me a bit closer. Well I shall know later. I've been out and bought healthy food. And shall see what the doctor says.

As well as following a healthy eating plan I shall be exercising most days. Swam 32 lengths / half a mile this morning .

It should be safe. There are others taking orlistat and thyroxine but obviously prescribed by their gp. Your BMI needs to be over 30 though to be prescribed and st just over a size 12 it probably isn't. You'd be better posting on the general threads or orlistat section as that's where we all seem to post we don't often come onto the alli bit.
