LOL no idea hun, I'm near a park so maybe that's close enough?

I have been eating like a hobbit today - when I'm not eating, I'm thinking about food! Am now trying to physically restrain myself from making Sandra's peanut butter cookies!

Later - came across the Lighter Side blog, some yummy sounding recipes - this is in the oven as we speak -

    http://yourlighterside.com/cauliflow...-bread-sticks/

And she does a deep pan pizza made from chicken...and check out the low carb chocolate cake....

I've been distracting myself by writing my assignment and then when food pangs became distracting I did housework. I now have a lovely hoovered carpet downstairs and all traces of mouse poo have been removed from the cupboard in my kitchen. Managed to distract myself enough with both to hold out my fast to a few moments ago.

"Because of your impatience for a quick result you use methods that won't work," said Cai Tok.

Man is unique in placing time constraints on the results he wants in life and, in doing so, becomes restless, rather than still. It is far easier to be patient for something when the outcome of it is certain, because in our certainty, there is less room for anxiety.

Allowing the ego's demands, which are based on fear and impatience, dominate our thinking. It is the ego that insists on having what it wants now by convincing us how much is missing from our life. If its demands are not satisfied it convinces us how unfair life is to us - and conversely if we do satisfy our ego, it will furnish us with another set of demands tomorrow.

Become certain about outcomes whilst simultaneously become unconcerned as to when and how. Becoming internally driven instead of externally influenced means the ego has no influence over you.

A prime example of how my recipes never look like the pictures in the book!

Quite rich due to all the cheese, but they are yummy!

Half a small cauli, Smiley. I also only had salami slices, not pepperoni, so chopped four of those up. Also no fennel so just added garlic powder (a bit too much, as it turns out!) and dried basil.

They are hugely filling - unless that's because I've been eating all day and my head has finally registered that fact!

Smiley - incidentally, did you post the Low Carb Gourmet Courgette Cake at all? Amazon sent me the wrong book and I have a load of courgettes here. No worries if you didn't, though, the replacement should come this week hopefully.

I can't eat these yet since they break all my rules for being an exceptionally good girl - but would you be kind enough to point me in the direction of a recipe for future use - they look lovely.

Don't worry Susie - actually i'm not worried about reading about other people's food. Food is such a intrinsic part of my day to day - I cook lots for the kids - so it doesn't really effect me.

Smiley yours look brilliant! I think I took mine out too early, left them in the oven for 20 mins - next time I'll try 30 mins.

They also become more robust once cold - but either way, i hope you enjoy them

    Here's the recipe again, Diem - http://yourlighterside.com/cauliflow...-bread-sticks/
