Today I weighed in at 19st 5 and my target weight is 12. I have a lot to loose but motivated to kick my fat butt into shape :)
I think the idea of a.diary is great keeps me on track.also will enable other atkiners to keep me on track. I am so grateful for you all being here.
Will post diary master this evening.

Love it thought. Roll on tomorrow. What's the best way to have advocado? Never had one before and I am giving one a try tomorrow x

I have absoloutly no clue whatsoever lol Never had it before. Im such a plain jane haha x

Thanks will give that a try. I love chicken and been told advocado is really creamy and tastey. Im loving this new adventure and food tasting x

You need to get a pretty ripe one - although it's all about personal taste :)

And yes low carb is fab for really healthy cooking - I never used to go in the kitchen and now I am committed to making my meals from scratch. Also never used a celeriac in my life - but it makes a lovely low carb chip :)

What is a celeriac? I'm a cooking disaster lol but there is loads of time for improvement xx

Oh hun don't worry this forum is littered with tragic tales from the kitchen! :D I was cooking once using dried ginger, took the lid off, noticed it needed breaking up and shook it - but somehow forgot to put the lid on first....

Celeriac - Simply in Season-Vegetable and Fruit Guide Celeriac - looks like a creature from a kid's cartoon but is very yummy as chips or mashed.

Other favs - mash made from cauliflower; also rice made from cauli (grate a head of cauli and microwave for about 5 mins) - fab with home made curry. In fact, cauli wins all round - you can do a pizza base with it too :D And lots of spinach - keeps you regular and i always lose better when I eat more of it.

There's some really stickies on the forum particularly for newbies, but don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

Thank you. these food idea's with cauliflower sound great. I will have a.good.look at some of the recipies here - I'm not sure what recipies to follow as some of them don't say what phase. So any pointers for tastey induction treats would be appreciated. Xx

Here's a few of my favourite meals -

Bacon and eggs - morning, noon and night :)

Cheeseburger pie - a big fav on induction!

Chicken rubbed with Ras El Hanout - Ras el hanout - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - with baked goat's cheese on a bed of wilted spinach mmmm :)

Low carb sossies with cauli mash and a little wholegrain mustard stirred into it (there's a sticky with low carb shopping suggestions)

Roasted pork belly strips with a green salad and some feta

Have a good browse through the Just Recipes sticky - loads of ideas for you there :)

Brilliant!!!! Thanks for the link lol. Cauliflower and mustard sounds amazing. Im definetly going food shopping tomorrow and follow the recipies on the stickys xx
