Hey!

back on here as I'm starting phase 1 today and need plenty of advice. I'm back on here to steal your menus too!!

Me Currently

I have not WI as this time last year I got to goal (9.7 from 11st) without WI and did well without it.
I think I'm at around 10.7-11 currently. I'm also restarting my daily Pilates (which I can't recommend enough to all, beginners or hard-cores).

So here goes!

Been low carb for 4 days so should be nearing ketosis. Done 15mins of Pilates today and hope to do the full 30mins mon to fri. No menu yet, this is where I'm getting stuck.

Challenges

although I've been low carb, think I'm eating too much. So need to get my portion control in check.
can someone please tell me how many grams of protein are recommended?

Hope all of you are well and fighting fit!

Hi Busy, I remember you got to goal. It's been very quiet on here lately and a lot of us are not strictly low carb, but welcome back. :)

Hi CL, yes I exceeded my goal by getting to 9st - without intention as i really got into atkins. I noticed it was pretty quiet on here, but the eason I've not been on here is because I've been low carb-ISH! hence the gain. Thank you for your warm welcome, hope all is well with you.

Yesterday was another good day, I had not used all my calories or carbs for two days previous so I could enjoy more food on sunday - which is a relaxed family day and we usually go out to eat but remained all within the plan. 10g over in carbs, but I earned it through saving carbs fri and sat. Pilates is done this mooring so feeling accomplished. Im going to put some pics up later too as I'm not WI-in, so can gauge my results.

Hoping to get a chance to catch up with diaries later too.

Yesterday was a little high on the carb side as i made a lamb mince or keema curry, so an onion and tomato tipped me very much over the induction carb limit. I also had some black eyed peas which were 14g - not to worried as at least its not pizza o chocolate.

Its very quiet on here, but I will just rant to, myself.

Did you grill your own artichokes? I love them, but always been afraid of them- they look complicated! I love beans they keep me full.

I've come to subscribe! You sound focussed :)

They were quite easy, I quartered it and have used it for lunch last 4 days. I covered...erm smothered it on oil added a few flakes of dried red chilly and lightly grilled - they were fab! I love beans too, my only down fall on atkins. Imm indian so miss daal (pulses very much).

Welcome! I'm pretty good when I get going, plus I've done them all and can generally cruise through on atkins. I love variety and so its easier on atkins

Stressful day at the office, after which battling the worst traffic finally got to school, only to discover DS2 had eaten glue! Spent 40 mins with matron waiting for NHS direct to call back. Then had to wait a further 20 mins while dear nephew went on a wild goose around school looking for his shoes. Thennnnnnnnn back out into traffic.

Fab end to the day though, had a lovely bath and now in bed with a book. Trying to

Think its been ok food wise will know for certain when I add all the ingredients of the lamb curry into my fitness pal tomorrow.

Haven't been on for a few days. Haven't been totally on or off plan over the weekend. Done a little pilates today and remained firmly on plan yesterday. Seeing a difference to tummy and arms already.

Hope your all winning.

Had a good day diet wise yesterday. Had a couple of mouthfuls of donner meat - yuk. Completely off it, I think as I'm eating clean and green it just didn't taste good to me. Done Pilates for 20 mins yesterday and today, gone up to a more advanced level, so still finding my feet on some of the moves. Love pilates, can see and feel the resuts intstantaniously - such a feel good feeling after, makes you so aware of your posture throughout the day.

Visited some diaries later today, however, hardly anyone around here is actually on atkins and hard to see what they are on as no menus being posted.

Hope your all winning.
