Atkins for the wedding bod!

I'm a regular here on minimins and I've decided to give Atkins a go! I'm getting married next September so I want a smoken hot booty!

Let me know if I'm doing it ok!

breakfast: scrambled eggs and Mushrooms

Snack 1 ounce of cheddar

lunch : chicken skewers

dinner : steak and salad verde with chillis

Water with slice of lemon

drinking lots of water! Any advice is much appreciated!

Hi! congratulations on your engagement and future wedding x. You will hit goal for next september no problem xx.

This is a really warm and friendly forum, if a little quiet these days, but just keep posting for your own reference. What have you been doing pre-atkins? I think if your new to Atkins its essential to read the book to understand and appreciate how it works and how your body will react. There is a really useful sticky on the main forum which explains all the do's and don'ts in detail.

Just keep posting your menus and fire any questions and I'm sure you will get plenty of advice and support.

Hi all! Day two and I'm gonna try and look at the carb content :

Breakfast : scrambled eggs, pop of mixed herbs (am I right in saying this is carb free?)

Lunch : Chicken salad with cheese (4g net carbs)

Dinner : beef burgers

Snack : bacon and some chicken.. Thinking I need to get some cucumber sticks or something on the go here!

I love atkins! But its all about so many different factors for different people. I hate counting calories and love the richness of atkins, it also fits into my lifestyle easily as I cook from scratch mostly anyway.

True! Seems to be pretty good cooking wise! Today I am out for lunch with a friend so in thinking chicken Cesar salad without croutons?

Breakfast : a bit of a fry!

Lunch : Mushroom and goats cheese salad

Dinner : steak and veggies

edit: had a slice of red velvet cake forced upon me at lunch.. I ate a bit but my tummy was so so sore afterwards!
