Hi, I'm busy,

I am not new to atkins or minimins, I left the forum as it was really quiet - started again as I am aiming to lose 1 stone (from 11 to 10) over the next 2-3 months and really need somewhere record my journey. I am currently on day 3 and it's going good so far.

However, really need to get motivated enough to start some exercise. I'm usually very good once I start but currently lacking the motivation to get started. I have a collection of home workouts which work well with my schedule - hope to get doing some exercise this week.

Todays menu

b tea
L half chicken and greens
d qeema (mince curry) with salad

Hope to read some of your diaries for inspiration.

Subscribing with interest. Currently vlcd but who knows where I'll go next!!!

Thanks for popping by, feel free to come along whenever. I actually did exact about three years ago - so hope to be of help to your goal also x.

Day for going really good so far, potential downfall however maybe milk in tea, I keep kidding myself that I'm using only 100ml a day which is 3g carbs but it's far more than that! I collared nut craving so next goal is to cut down on tea. Did my pilates this morning and feel great.

b meatfree sausage (3g carbs) and 5 button mushrooms
l keema curry (7g carbs from the onion and toms)
chick breast grilled and spinach (3g)

Total carbs - 16g

milk for tea (3g carbs)

Doing well, have been doing 1hr of pilates daily and feeling and seeing a huge difference. However, I have STS. Not too worried as could be losing fat but going muscle. Will be trying to cut out dairy and tablet sweetner see if that helps.

Hope you are all doing well x.

Hey all,

Doing well so far, yesterdays menu right on plan and I have totally curbed any nut cravings and have swapped to low sugar soya milk for tea, which has a reduced my carb count significantly. Been doing my Pilates also - which is helping me tone nicely. I am not a religious WI-er as I have now come to understand that its more about shape than weight, I will however take some pics in my leggings and scrappy top to be compared in a few weeks time.

Yesterdays menu

B boiled egg
l V small salad and tuna and sweetcorn sandwich filler (which was a whopping 4g carbs in one tablespoon!! won't be having the readymade stuff again!)
D Chicken breast and spinach curry
S 2 boiled eggs

Off to get in some Pilates.

Having a fab time on the woe, consistent with exercise also, reading dark on K stix. Noticed a mahooosive difference in clothing today - no muffin top, not only significant change in belly but also a big 1 to 1.5 inch gap on jeans at the waist! Had a lovely breakfast this morning, runny egg and sausage soldiers, basically cut my meat free sossie into thin strips and dipped in egg, can't describe how lush it was.

Yesterdays menu

B 1 Tablespoon tuna sandwich filler (not buying that again due to high % carbs)
L chicken and spinach curry (leftovers from dinner)
D grilled haddock (marinated in olive oil and spices) and salad

S 2 boiled eggs and 2pcs of melon and kiwi (oops but hasn't done any harm)

Todays Menu

B runny egg and sausage soldiers
L baked fish and salad
D still not decided but possibly chicken 1/4 and salad

Hope your all winning!

Still here! Another good day, finished off as follows;

D 1fillet chicken thigh (marinated with ginger, garlic, salt, olive oil, red chilli powder and black pepper, - smell and taste was divine!)

S 5 cubes of chick breast
1 boiled egg
1 step of Mango - oops! but hey still in K

Will be doing 30mins of pilates in AM and 30 mins yoga pm

Menu

B boiled egg 2 cherry toms
l grilled plaice fillet and salad
D Ginger and garlic chick breast with salad

S Boiled egg
chick breast pcs

Hope your all winning x

I am on track to hopefully meet my goals of 2-3lbs a week. Yesterday another good day apart from a snack of quite a few cherry plum tomatoes, which were so lush I found myself popping away a few handfuls a couple of times during the day. Did my Pilates and quite a hard Yoga dvd, couldn't do all the moves but hoping to be consistent and then see progress.

Menu

B boiled egg and meat free sossie
L chicken thigh fillet and salad
D Possibly tuna steak and artichoke - if I can find the artichoke in the shops, if not then salad

Really into the exercising, just waiting for kids to go off to football training so I can do it. Hope your all winning.

So far, so very good, kicking LC's Butt! Completely by-passed a takeaway last night and fought off dark choc craving like a boss. Had to have a little butter to cook with as ran out of oil and one tablet sweeter this morning in coffee to give me a morning boost, but aiming to stay away from dairy and sweeter. Quite conscious my fats are quite low due to eliminating dairy - will see how my WI goes tomorrow and re-evaluate. Cam eon TOM one week early which indicates fat burning as fat cells contain ostreogen, so when you lose fat oestrogen is released and has a little party. Must be in deep K as not feeling hungry at all, didn't do breakfast today, will up my intake my having a snack later instead.

B nothing
L Tuna Mayo and salad
D Chick thigh and salad

WI today and happy to see 5lbs gone, yay so current weight is 10.9. New goal for next week is to get below 10.7, so need a minimum 3lbs loss.

Today is the beginning of week 2 for me. I'm deep in K as I have come on TOM 2 weeks early and know from past that its a sign of the body releasing fat cells. Area's of concern are 1)I'm not eating enough due to loss of hunger, currently eating saucer sized meals, 2) since I have cut out dairy I may not be getting enough fats. So, main concern is that I will stall due to not getting enough calories or fats. Although I was happy with the albs week one loss I was secretly hoping for more as I have been very strict the past week, could the afore mentioned be the reason? Appreciate any feedback.

I usually do 20-30 minutes pilates daily and 10-20 minutes toning with light hand weights.

Menu

B Boiled egg (which I had to share with lil'one!)
L tuna mayo and a salad of lettuce, olives and anchovies
D chicken thigh and spinach curry with romaine lettuce

S copious tea with unsweetned soya milk
Boiled eggs if required

Hope to get to know some of you better soon x.
