Im kind of binging here and there, mainly in the evening on whole almond NUTS (a little handful) just find em nice to chomp on but what i wanna know is, is it safe to do so or should i stop chomping? thanks

It depends really - they're not advised for the early stages of Atkins and most low carb diets because theyre high calorie and do contain carbs, which stack up if you eat too many. Nuts are easy to binge on so if you can't control yourself around them it's best to avoid them altogether. Otherwise a 30g portion a day won't do much harm - just count the carbs.
dieting is hard. being overweight is hard. choose your hard.
thanks for that and duly noted, im not doin the atkins thing properly just low carbing for now to see how it goes but like u said watch them carbs and cals in them there nuts, thanks.

I also find you need to watch for trigger foods ie ones you cant stop eating! All nuts are fine for me except peanuts - disaster so i avoid!
