How large is large? I wouldn't know if there is an accepted average, but to be accurate, I would measure the capacity of the glass you're using.
As a rough guide, I find this site useful: Low Carb UK -The definitive resource for people in the UK and Europe who are following a Low Carb Diet
Hope that helps! :)
5 ounces of white or red wine is 3.8 carbs and is 125 calories. (Regular wine and not the extra sweetened crap like Arbor Mist.) Red wine is better for you than white wine. It has more minerals, less natural sugar and contains more antioxidants because it is less processed than white. I small glass of red or white wine a day won't kill your low carb diet.
