I bought some milled flax seed (linuset organic) and made the bread recipe with egg and baking powder. But it was so bitter and and had a strange aftertaste. Have I bought the wrong one??? X

Morning i add butter, splenda and a lil blackpepper to mine. Also tesco sell flaxseed for 75p ur better off buying that and grinding your own, try again and see how u get on x

Flax can be a little bitter - golden flax seed tends to be least bitter - adding a little sweetner to your mix can help.
Personally I only like flax bread toasted where the flavour goes deep and nutty. I use Linwood's.
