    Grrr......

    Grrr 9lbs off and my jeans are just as tight!!!! Surely it can't all be water!!!!! Feeling rubbish today and full of cold and now mil come round for tea with new York cheesecake and my favourite icecream (to help my sore throat!) feel like hitting my head against a wall!!!! How can I say know when she's bought my favourite (after I told her I wouldn't have any pud) xxx

    Water weight still makes you look bigger and your clothes feel tighter. Losing it is still important - and it's likely that those 9lbs aren't all water. We all have days where we feel bigger. If you told her you werent having pudding there's no reason to feel bad for not eating it - feel good for not eating it, instead.

    You've likely lost lots of salt, and glycogen which is kept in the muscle with water. It's necessary to get rid of this before your body can make the switch to burning primarily fat. Your symptoms sound like low potassium/salt. Try salting your food, taking a potassium supplement (it's sold in 99mg capsules which is 5% of RDA so you can take a few in morning and a few at night) or eating more bacon/salty nuts etc
