    6 weeks in, massive stall?!

    Hello!

I've been on atkins for 6 weeks
    I'm 20
    Starring weight - 14st 11
    Current weight - 13st 5

For the past 2 weeks I've been 13st 5 even moving up a bit!

I've been running for 30-60 mins each night (depends how tired I am)

Could it be due to the excessive amount of running I do?

I have a very clean diet, under 10g carbs a day and normally lower. Am I eating too few carbs?

Also I love coke zero, however the first few weeks I lost loads of weight and drank coke zero loads so surely it can't be stalling me
    Now?

Any help would be appreciated! I won't quit as I feel great but would like to know!

    Thanks

    Hiya

I'd try upping your carbs as sounds too low to me. Worth a go anyway!

2 weeks isn't a massive stall - on Atkins a stall is only counted if it lasts 4 weeks or more - but I know it does get frustrating. Can you post your daily menus for us to look at, maybe we'll see the problem then.

    Hi

    Thanks for replies

Good news in 2 days I've lost another 6 pounds' don't know where they have gone but down to 13 stone now!

    Ill share menu anyway

    Daily menu on average

    Breakfast
    2 egg omelet with cheese

Coffee with 2 sweetex and Soya milk (unsweetened)

    Lunch
    5 chicken thighs w/ skin

    Dinner
300g mince with 2 slices bacon, butter and cumin

    Drinks
I drink a lot of water and I also drink coke zero, I know it has said to stal people but it never has for me!

Congrats on the huge drop! Coke zero never stalls me either.

For me, if I stall a week or two I tend to make up for that stall by eventually having a bigger drop - looks like you're the same. It's frustrating when it happens but worth keeping going - well done!

Re: your menu - adding some veggies in there would be good, especially green veggies to help keep you regular - that should also help you see consistent results.
