Question Has anyone used the 'New Atkins, New You' Cookbook?

I ordered it from Amazon, and just quickly flicking through - it seems to use a lot of ingredients I wouldn't touch with a barge pole..

I'd love to know everyone's opinions, and if anyone has any experience of the recipes - which ones are good - which ones to avoid etc..

What is the consensus on the Atkins Cuisine All Purpose Baking Mix..? (and why do I feel I already know that answer, Lol!)

    Many thanks!

    Lost 2st,4lbs through low carbing/Atkins between August 2012 & February 2013.
Gained 10lbs falling spectacularly off the wagon through March and April..
And now, following 4 days low carbing - am hitting Slim & Save.
Hurrah for convenience, speed and simplicity!

I haven't read it buuuut suspect it's probably just a way for the Atkins company to sell their rubbish baking mixes etc...

Also in America they have access to some very odd flour substitutes etc and additives. I see people on American low carb forums use ingredients I've never heard of - might be the case here?

There was an English, neris and India pig to twig cookbook (basically adapted Atkins) that I seem to remember being quite good...
