Miracle Noodle Spinach Shirataki Noodles stir fry

'Borrowed' from a review on Amazon -

Take time to prepare properly (rinse, blanch, dry fry) and you will find that they taste like whatever else you're eating.

I also suggest snipping them into small lengths as you drop them in the boiling water-it makes them easier to consume, because, out of the bag when you pick up one, you pick them all up.

As you prepare the noodles, bring a cup of chicken broth to a boil, after dry frying drop the noodles in there, let 'em simmer while you sauté 100g of diced chicken, onion, celery, pepper, whatever.

Toss it all together, grate some ginger on it, and you've got a giant bowl of stir fry weighing in at less than 200 calories.

Yes, I've found I MUCH prefer these when they're cut up small as opposed to chomping on long tangly bites.

Sometimes I have them with just butter, garlic powder and Parmesan. Or I microwave them and have them in chicken stock with some chopped spring onions. Or I chop some ham, microwave the noodles then mix with some cream cheese and the ham for very basic 2 minute carbonara. Or after you cook a steak, pop the noodles in the frying pan and cook them in the beefy juices.

I actually only have them rarely but they're a nice occasional filler when there's not enough real food in the house.
