Sugar free chewing gum?
Hi, is it ok to have sugar free chewing gum? I've just read the ingredients and noticed it was mostly carbs but you don't swallow it!
Thanks x

Hi Sally - they're fine, just try not to have them all the time - unless you're in ketosis and have stinky breath, in which case they're essential!

Sugar free gum makes a great substitute for that dessert you might be craving after a meal. Just have one piece though. It is usually 2 or 3 carbs a stick and yes they count because it is the flavoring in the gum which you do swallow.
