    Kirsty's Diary 2011

    This year will be the year of change!

    Reasons why:
    1. I am getting married 2013 and want to be a beautiful bride and dont want to be frumpy and have fat arms in my wedding dress
    2. To have more confidence
    3. I have managed to lose weight before and know I can do it
    4. To be able to buy any clothes I want and to look good in them
    5. To not worry about not feeling good about myself
    6. To impress my fiance david and make him say "wow" when he looks at me
    7. To not worry about wearing a swimsuit on holiday
    8. To be able to go swimming and not worry what other people will be thinking
    9. To feel good about myself
    10. Most importantly, to be healthy!

    Hey thanks everyone! Nice to see your still around Emz how u gettin on?
    Today calorie wise I have done good. Need to get my ass back to the gym though, it's been a while! We have our engagement party in June so have 6 months to shift some weight and tone up my arms for a nice little party dress. Have no idea what I weigh but am just going to cut down on calories and junk for the first few weeks and go by clothes (hopefully they will start to loosen off again lol) and then weigh myself when I FEEL lighter and hope for the best....

    So far I have managed to quit the cigs and alcohol! I decided that it was time to live a healthier life, was drinking and smoking far too much! I have had a packet with 3 cigs in it since 2nd January and haven't touched them so far. Still waiting to feel healthier though as have just gotten over a really bad cold and still feel a bit groggy! lol

    Well had 2 meals today, 1 healthy and 1 not healthy! Am going to write down what I am eating even if it is bad and then I can learn from my mistakes. I am going to calorie count and aim for about 1200 cals a day.

    We have organised our venue the three kings and they do most of the wedding, cake, cars, evening entertainment etc. That's the only thing we have booked so far next step is photographer. Hope u get the venue you are wanting. Anywhere in particular u are looking at? xx

    Ur so lucky to have lots of nice venues to chose from

    This week has been not bad. It's been hard keeping a track of what I've ate over the past few days (not meant in a bad way lol) but I have done well and definately not gone over my calorie allowance.
    First official weekend of not drinking and managed fine. It's not bothered me in the slightest. Went to my friend sarahs tonight for our usual friday night girly catch up. Me Jackie and Sarah. I didn't even miss the wine at all and surprising was still my usual bubbly self even without the alcohol. I was scared that I was going to be a bit dull, thankfully not! lol. I drank some red bull instead. Next week I am going to get diet though 'cause all the sugar is not good! I suppose it's better than 1 or 2 bottles of wine that I would normally have had!

    As for the smoking I ended up having 3 fags. I couldn't help it out of habbit, that's just what us 3 do on a friday nite when we are catching up at the weekend. Have wine and a few cigarettes. Well I didn't smoke much of them and standing out in the freezing cold I was just thinking to myself why am I doing this?? I only smoked about 4 draws of each and did think what is the point because it didn't feel the same as before. I must not be addicted having gone 13 days without smoking to now feeling disgusting after smoking. Next week I am not going to smoke at all even if I am left in the house on my own for 5mins. It's just not worth it.

    Well that's my ramble for today.

    Am going to phone the gym tomorrow and finally book in an induction. I so need to get back to my healthier fitter self. I know I can do it!!

    Woke up this morning with a crap taste in my mouth caused by the 3 fags I had last nite. Definately quit smoking from now on. No hangover though! Lost 1lb this week I suppose is better than nothing. Next week I am going to cut out the crap. Am contacting the gym today to book an induction next week to burn off some calories! Also time of month is due so hopefully will lose more lbs next week! Still not ready to post my weight yet though!
