Days 1 to 3

Day 1:

Woke up this morning, once again the fog from last nights wine binge sits firmly on the horizon. Stood on the scales! I was getting dangerously close to 200Lbs. By close I mean that if I hadn't just had a pee, I'd have been North of 200 Lbs.

So what to do?

Something had to give. I knew that I'd been putting on a "few" pounds in the last few months. The thing about being a bloke is that you can kid yourself that your not "really"...

Start date 12th June

OK, so this is day one... Well. Not exactly. I've been trying to lose weight for a while now. Just that today is day one of me actually putting some extra effort in. I've got until the 12th August to look decent, and then however long it takes me to lose the rest of it. (I'm going on my usual holiday to Cyprus - i'm from there so almost every year I go and every time I do I end up getting depressed. It's rare to see local even slightly overweight, and when i'm sat on the beach looking around I...

Day 7

Words can't express how proud I am for getting this far. Lee keeps telling me how proud he is of me, bless him he won't even eat his dinner infront of me lol Still like cooking for both of them though and making dinner for him and Tayla has been the worst, I had quite a difficult day yesterday but kept telling myself how far i'd come, how good I feel so I went and got a bottle of water and sat and drank that instead :-). Not felt any symptoms really, had headaches at the start but they soon stopped....

A couple more weeks to go!

I had a bad day yesterday and I had a bit of a pick. But i'm back on track today. I'm inot the 9s which i'm so happy about. I've been on so many diets and have never got under 10stone before giving up. I feel so much better in myself. I have confidence and I can fit into size 10 clothes, ha. I've still got just over a stone to go before I get to my goal of 8.7. My CDC wants me to stop at 9st but we'll see. WI is on Tuesday so I'm hoping for 5lbs. Fingers crossed!
