With gains of a half and one pound respectively for the last two weeks, I am now in the embarrassing position of 'achieving' an average of one pound a week. Given that I removed four of those in the first week, this is not anything like a success story yet!

I know it's an excuse, but I really do need to concentrate in order to lose weight and at present I simply have no head space whatsoever. Work is all-consuming. My brain is so overloaded that I can barely focus on all the tasks...

Well I got weighed last night for the first time and I am pleased to announce that I am now 3.5lbs lighter! How good is that! I feel great. It’s all the motivation I need for this week I reckon.
