Let me tell you a little about myself... My name is mandi i'm 41years old & have two children my daughter Tegan who is 21yrs old & my son Marcus (Razorbladelove) who is 20yrs old. I have a wonderful husband who is 8 years younger than me & has supported me throughout my weight loss journey....

3rd April 08 After my shift yesterday morning the ward allowed me to sit with her again even though it wasn't visiting time, i stayed to about 10am then walked home for a bit of sleep before returning to her at 2.30pm. Yesterday she was finally seen by the Gastro team & they have confirmed it is Crohns disease & at some point may need to operate  . Her iron levels are still dropping 8.9 so something will have to done about that, she still has a nasty urine...

1st April My daughter has been suffering with on going abdo pains for years but this pass 6 weeks it's been worst, too & fro to the doctors & hospital with short stay on a ward 3 weeks ago. After many test they decided it may be ibs or crohns  they discharged her & have been waiting an outpatients appointment with the gastro team. When i returned home form mynight shift yesterday morning Tegan was in tears in so much pain so down to A&E we went, they wanted...

It's been a long time but i've returned to work beginning to get use to being around people again but this bout of depression has been a hard one, it's hit me quite bad! Occi health dept didn't really want me to return to work but i felt i had too get back some normality back into my life. Can't stay at home vegitating (sp). They did agree (hense here tonight) but want me to have regular meetings with them & my ward manager, they are also writing to my GP for his opinon!!!. Occi health are also...

Haven't been line for a while been very down & been finding it hard to cope with day to day things. Doctor has signed me off work for a while & put me back on Anti D's  . They've now got into my system & each day i beginning to get stronger & stronger. My family & hubby have been so supportive & really helping me through this. First WI since returning to ssing & have got rid off 7lbs  so please.... And to think i'll nearly caved in on wednesday & ate so glad i didn't, really chuffed with myself!!!
