I heard that keeping a food diary is a good way of keeping yourself in check. I thought I'd try and keep mine online.
So it's all going in - every last morsel. Fingers crossed for me everyone.
I know where my problems are really. Eating on the run, snacking (especially on my commute home), not eating enough fruit and veg, no exercise. But I'm not really facing up to it and hopefully a diary will force me too.
Without much effort a stone dropped of me in the last year. So I can lose weight; I just need to be more aware and get to it.
This year is the "year of 29" and I promised myself I'd "do stuff" this year. Losing a decent amount of weight has got to be part of it. So, starting at 17st 13lb, wish me luck!

Week 4 Day 2 - I have absolutely no desire to write this today

Bad Bad Bad day. Bad Bad Bad Claire.
It started well. Crunchy Nut Cornflakes. Had some popcorn and an apple mid morning.
I had to have an early lunch (12.00) and that is where it went wrong. I had a chicken couscous salad (lovely).
Late afternoon I started to get hungry and ate a penguin and a mint.
I was meeting my mum and some others at the pub for dinner (mum had a voucher for a free dinner) and pub quiz. However this wasn't until 8 and we wouldn't be eating until 9 so I succumbed to a packet of maltesers. This is the first time since starting this three weeks ago that I have bought and eaten a full sized chocolate snack.
Dinner was a chicken breast chips and peas. Nice but stupidly, and as ever, cleared the plate without thinking.
It's nearly midnight and that means the day is almost over. And from midnight I will forget about today and move on. Again.
