    More than 2 stone gained since christmas - wedding in September. Ahhh

    Hi, I was part way through my slimming world journey having lost 3 stone in October. Then gained a few pounds. Come Christmas time I had regained 2 and a half stone and despite keeping on going to slimming world, I can't seem to shift it. I am obviously not trying hard enough. I neeeeed to focus!!!

    We get married in September and I want to be slim. Not going to happen, but I at least want my 3 stone off from now. 20 weeks t go, so 2lb a week is 40lbs, that will do it.

    I need to exercise too I think. Or I know!!! Started swimming once a week for the last month and have lost 2lbs in the last month, so it doesn't help too much. I have a 3yr old and a 22month old, so I don't get much opportunity to exercise.

    Anyone else slimming for a wedding and have any tips/ want a buddy? x

    Hi there I got engaged at Christmas to my partner after putting on weight since we first met. This time last year I was slimmer and healthier. Some would argue since getting into a relationship I've become stuck in a rut and not exercised or watched my diet as much etc but this is not the case although admittedly for me I have now changed my diet to the extent of my fiancé changing foods I used to eat or eating such and such that I didn't before. I've probably gained around a stone maybe a stone and a half since being with him last summer and I am determined to get if off. I've been on slimming world twice before and managed to lose between half a stone and a stone etc before so I plan to get back to slimming world classes. I weighed myself at the start of the week and then using my old slimming world books until I rejoin later this week weighed myself with my electric scales made a note and then got back to syn counting and food diaries etc. However in the four days I have started I have been following extra easy plan and not cheating in any way. Syn count is right down low less than 5 a day and yet I've had a gain of 1.5lbs! Talk about frustrating.

    First time I did slimming world I gained as well my first official weigh in but the next week dropped 4lbs so I am hoping the effort I'm making now will have an effect by the time I get to my first meeting. But seriously I'm doing more exercise, sticking and no cheats with my diet and I've had a gain. Aaaaaaaargh! But I'm determined to get there in the end!

    Hi OrbitalSea,
    After an eight year relationship including a two year engagement, my Fiancé and I will also be tying the knot in September. When we first met I was a size 8/10 and over the years I have somehow managed to grow to a size 16. I have prob left it a bit late to start but I guest better late than never. I have set my Goal date for August. I'm having my wedding dress made and my measurements will be taken then.

    This is my second week on the Exante diet and despite a couple of cheeky treats I managed to loose 11lb in my first week. I doubt this week will be as big a loss but anything is better than nothing.

    I also want to include exercise but having a tight schedule doesn't always make it easy. I have ordered a Kettle-ball and there are some great youtube videos you can do at home.

    How are you coming along?
