Name your hunger
Hello all.
I am just sitting here mulling this over.
Those of you who know linda spangle, will probably know this one but right now it is resonating with me.
Naming hunger...
What is it that is eating me?
For me, my hunger is pretty much exclusively one of three types of hunger, usually I'm emotional, angry or frustrated - they are all sitting snuggly under the big ass'd umbrella of Heart Hunger.
I am genuinely sometimes hungry, but it is very rare.
Now - my hunger is usually attached to certain foods...and that is the soothing feeling that chocolate gives me (well it's not actually that nice to eat, it's the afterglow) SWEETS, PATSTRIES AND CAKES AND BISCUITS.
of course I am working on putting those things into the dustbin of my psyche and it is getting better, but I still find I battle my inner voice and feel like I have to stuff it down with one of the above.
So - my question is, what's your hunger called and how do you deal with it?

Gertrude! I am chuckling to myself here.
I think if it was personified it would be candy or something equally gross, like the ditzy blonde woman from annie, you know the one, who is Mrs Hanigans brothers bit of fluff.
I have thought about that waaaaay too much

Hmmm, my hunger is.....food! When I eat savoury...I want sweet! When I eat sweet, I want savoury!!
At this moment, I fancy a great big scobbin' piece of gorgous cake but I know if I had it.....I would then have wanted something like pizza or curry instead lol!
Best thing is to not think of fattening food and focus on how to cook our dinner in a 'less fat' way!!!
