    Tractors AWOL today. Discovered a nice collection of killer icicles on the outside of the office unit that would give Rose's heels a run for their money. Pavements are in a disgusting state; every step was "crunch crack" this morning. I am not looking forward to the journey home.

    Tomato soup, tuna and crackers for a hearty lunch to keep out the cold today.

    Amber snow alert Squeezy but had a dry day so far even had some sunshine first thing. I may be declaring another Duvet Saturday as there is no way I am walking along those pavements until all ice has dissolved.

    Rotty managed to struggle her way in, then later in the day we were joined by Junior Rotty en route to her "hanger management" counselling session. Fridays are becoming more and more like Chez Rotty & Eb than the workplace

    Ladies I have precipitation of the clear, wet, liquid variety accompanied by the thud of sliding snow falling from the roof together with the tinkle and crash of falling icicles.

    Have just watched the local and national weather who appear to have differing views of what happens next so the choice is a fast thaw followed by a deep freeze from 3 a.m. to give lovely black ice in the morning or the wet stuff will turn to heavy snow and I will have another 4" to greet me by breakfast. I think Sainsburys may be put off until Sunday lol.

    Just through a load of beef & veggies in the slow cooker to cook through the night, just searching for what to make tomorrow as it is now "slow cooker saturday".
