    Starting calorie counting!

    Hello everyone

Have attempted Weight Watchers since September and seem to have hit a brick wall! Can't be bothered working out 'points' anymore.

Have lost weight previously by calorie counting and excercising but went back to my old ways and piled it all back on and more!

According to My Fitness Pal, I have to eat 1200 calories a day. As well as calorie counting I have joined Curves.

I will still weigh myself weekly as before like at Weight Watchers and will have monthly weighing and measuring at Curves.

    Day 1

Breakfast: New york bagel (227 cals) and chocolate philadelphia (86 cals) = 313 calories

Lunch: Chicken chow mein (273 cals) and 2 apples (170 cals) = 443 calories

Going to Curves after work. MFP counts this as 179 calories so will go with that until I start using Curves Smart which will be more accurate.

Tea: warburton thin pizza - Warburton thin (100 cals) 1/5 tinned chopped tomatoes (17 cals) Low low cheese slice x 2 (120 cals) 2 medium mushrooms sliced (8 cals) = 245 calories

Total for day is 1,001 calories.

Have 199 left for the day. Am going to the cinema tonight so will probably take something to snack on.

Should I be eating the calories burned at Curves or can I put these towards weight loss like I would at Weight Watchers?

    xxxx

I've been advised to eat back exercise calories when having 1200 calories because we shouldn't really eat less than 1200 cals a day because body goes into starvation mode.

Change of plan for last night's tea. Went straight out shopping then cinema from work so wasn't able to make my pizza! Got a Boots shapers jungle curry wrap (250 cals) Snack a jack crunchy curls - cheeky chutney flavour (88 cals) and a banana, pineapple and coconut innocent smoothie (160 cals) = 498 calories

taking yesterday's total to 1254. 54 calories over but I'm sure I probably worked them off with all the shopping after work!

    Day 2

Breakfast: New york bagel (227 cals) and chocolate philadelphia (86 cals) = 313 calories

Lunch: Sainsbury's Hoi sin duck soup (308 cals) Strawberry weight watchers yoghurt (49 cals) and peach weight watchers yoghurt (54 cals) = 411 calories

Tea: will have the pizza I planned on having last night
warburton thin pizza - Warburton thin (100 cals) 1/5 tinned chopped tomatoes (17 cals) Low low cheese slice x 2 (120 cals) 2 medium mushrooms sliced (8 cals) = 245 calories

I like them but there isn't much eating in them. I usually have them as pizzas or toasted with ham and cheese. 100 calories isn't too bad though so I wouldn't feel bad if I had 2 xx

yeah both slices are 100 calories in total. I've just been doing them in the oven but they are quite flimsy. Toasting them would probably be a better idea! I will try that next time xx
