Trying again with calorie counting

Tried every diet going now but really getting fed up as nothing works long term. The only time I've been happy with my weight is before 'dieting' and joining the gym about 3 years ago. I wasnt obsessed with food or dieting and I want to get back to that frame of mind.

I want to lose 1 1/2 - 2 stone to get me back to where I was. I'm 5ft 9 and around 11.12.

Going to aim for between 1300-1400 6 days a week with one day then up to 2000 if I feel like it. I will go to the gym 3/4 times a week :)

Struggled today, really hungry for some reason. Anyway finished on 1600 cals so not too bad. Wondering if 1300 is too low for me as all I can think about is food I'm so hungry. Will see how I get on aiming for 1500 and see if I still lose ;)
