I've come to say hello :-)
After being diagnosed with adult onset Type 1 diabetes, I decided it was time to get healthy. It was a big wake up call. First part-LOSE WEIGHT! I've been calorie counting for 5 weeks now and have lost 18lb. My friends and family are getting bored of talking about calories and weighing etc etc, so thought I would join in on here, where calories are an obsession! :-) (I am self confessed obsessed!).
I have had some truly yummy meals whilst cc and I'm eating better than I ever have done. I predominantly follow CC diet, but aim to have low carbs (because of the diabetes). I love the challenge of finding traditional high cal recipes and altering them to make them diet friendly. I want to be able to share some of these recipes and also get some of your ideas for coming up with something new!
