I have always been a big girl - my nan used to say I have big bones - bless

Over the past ten years my weight has just grew and grew.

Not really sure what triggered my weight gain just overeating I suppose. Can't believe how easy it is.

I have tried every diet known and although I have had some success initially I always seem to put on more than when I started.

My weight is starting to cause me some health problems. I have recently been diagnosed with a fatty liver.

I am also being tested for diabetes and thyroid. I have got my blood test this week so hopefully I will find out by Friday.

My doctor has mentioned to me about gastric surgery and he has applied for funding. I am obese with a BMI of 40 but because my BMI is only just 40 my application may be rejected.

I have decided that I am going to give calorie counting another go.

I am 32 and currently weigh 16 Stone 7.4 Pounds.

My goal is to be 9 Stone 13 Pounds.
