Hi keeping a diary here to keep me on track. I lost three stone last year with slim fast then calorie counting.

I maintained until i found out i was pregnant then ate everything in site! So now i back to the start, started last week and 2.6lbs off.

Im having 1200 cals and using myfitnes pal to help weighing in on mondays. Didn't feel i could stick to slimfast this time as i am at home with my little baby who's 7weeks now and seem to eat more at home!

So yesterdays food
Breakfast 100cal porridge
Dinner tuna lunch pot 197
Tea fake away chicken kebabs 600cals
Snacks, crisps, mikado, biscuit, coffee and pop Total 1207

Thanks yeah another monday i know its after weekend but makes you be a bit better!

Just wondering what to have for dinner, babys asleep so actualy have time to make something ! I have a few back up microwave meals of a sort for when i dont x
 
Todays food

Breakfast Blue cheese triangle mushrooms on toast 97

Dinner noodles 237

Tea mustard chicken 370

Think i will finish of with 1/2 tin rice pudding and cup of tea

Snacks cracker bread and baby bell, 1/2 bounty, coffee and pop

Will finish just under 1200

Good thanks went to my mums today and avoid all the cakes! She got me some fruit but will have it for breakfast tomorrow

Breakfast wheetabix cereal bar 80

Dinner tuna sandwitch and weight watchers soup 252

Tea gammon egg chips mushrooms and salad 460

Snacks cherryade coffee tea

370 cals left for a nice treat with a brew later

Man your food looks so good! Can't really eat out much with calorie counting, so much be nice knowing what you're doing! :eek:

Thanks i find i far more creative when cal counting and try to be clever with calories. I spent time when im hungry searching for recipes to try , when you have finished tea and usually reach for the chocolate i write down what i have had, measurement calories etc then its easy next time. Now i have a typed up list on my fridge (sad i know) mostly i have 'freezer teas' sausage roll/ fishcakes/ chicken and chips!


If you are eating out weatherspoons and a few others have cals on the menu x
 
Yh, I've gotten into repeating meals just to make it easier to count..

Weatherspoons is my weakness.. but a bowl of chips for nearly 800kcal ;(
I think many things on there could easily be made with less kcals, which just further reinforces eating at home!
It's nice to find places with calories, but really very rare.

Wow!! Didnt know chips was that much ha ha !! There are them meals under is 800cals noodles? Buts its just not the same !! X
 
Had a fruit salad but still hungry so just made ham and egg cup on a potato waffle mmmmmm think im still hungry ha ha !

Glad its going well.

Went to the in laws for tea and put down chilli and rice in my fitness pal but it was chilli chips garlic bread cheese! Ooops never mind
 
Well 5lbs off this week i really think that i must be alot of water since pregnancy as i never loose weight that quickly and i have had a few days over calories but not over normal 2000 daily limit

I may take my measurements in a few weeks and use that as a guide. I have a pair of fat jeans from when i was this weight last year and they still don't fit! Going to keep trying them until they do ha ha then the next goal is to get in my skinny jeans again!!
 
What a fab loss!! Don't be so quick to dismiss it as water weight though - you are doing really well!! x
 
Thanks ! I had a cheeky weigh in this morning and im in the 10s (10.13 1/2 !!! ) going out saturday and its hubbys birthday next week so we are off to blackpool for a few nights . Will start back week after safe to say next weeks a write off ha ha! X

Had lots of fun thanks baby was really good. Started back on it Monday as planned sure i ate twice as much last week just coz i could! X
 
So two nights in blackpool meant one week of stuffing myself ! Two weeks later Im back to what i was now before . I enjoyed the week off dieting but just reminds me how easy it is to go on but hard to come off! Got a few nights out planned and obv christmas want to enjoy it but just the day not a whole week or im just going to go backwards!

Plus im cold in leggings and no jeans fit me yet since iv had baby , don't want to buy anything new and iv only so many long tops to wear!
