Hey there,
My name is Jennifer and I weigh 19 stone 10lbs. This is the second time I have weighed this much and was earlier in the year down to 12 stone through calorie counting and walking. What happened from there is that I wanted to maintain that weight loss and decided I suddenly didn't need to track what I ate, unfortunately I slipped back into my old habits and had some traumatic events which lead me to comfort eat and pile the weight back on.
I hope to leave the past behind me now, get back on the wagon and get my weight back down to 12 stone and further still to 10 stone which is the optimal weight for my height and build. I hope to do this in a year and in the same method that was succesful for me before.
I'm going to be posting what I eat and the exercise I took daily. I will be eating 1800 calories a day to start with and any exercise I do can be banked or eaten into depending on how I am feeling. I will be walking daily and have already chosen (and walked twice!) a 4 mile route which burns roughly 599 calories a pop.
I have officially started today so Fridays are my weigh in day. Hoping for a loss this week of at least 4lbs. I know this is reasonable as I have lost 7lbs in the first week in the past.
Hoping for the best and if anyone wants to read through my progress and offer encouragement (or slaps on the wrist as the case may be) they are more than welcome!
Jen
