Hi fellow CCer's! Its been a while since I have been on MMins. :wavey:

Ive had two gorgeous babies in the past two and a half years and I am looking to shift the weight after my second child 9 months ago. Hoping to get back down to 72kg's., currently weighing around 83/84kgs's. Going to aim for 1500 cals tomorrow and work my way down to 1300/1350. I also need to start drinking more water and getting to the gym.

Day 1

Not a bad first day without trying; 2.5ltrs of water, 30 mins at the gym and 4 hours of non stop house work! I forgot to WI this morning and I did around 3pm coming in at 82kgs :D


FOOD -
peanut butter on toast (1 slice) 160
avocado on toast (1 slice) 130
coffee 40
protein smoothie with berries and banana 320
cheese and rice crackers 220
2 wafer sticks (damn I forgot I ate these) 150
coffee 40
tuna mornay 550
4 truffles (over the course of the day) 200
TOTAL - 1810

I need more fruit tomorrow. I was also aiming for 1500cals as my limit today, still that is not disastrous.

Hello!

Sounds like you are off to a good start. I wouldn't worry too much about being over cals at this time of year. Especially since you've hit the gym and done all that housework etc - that's good going!!

well done on deciding to get back on it. .. Although you've probably picked the hardest time of year to start! !

I'm having a week off so I can enjoy Christmas and a break in London. ... getting back on it next week!

I still plan on hitting the gym tomorrow but have just had a roast dinner and can hardly move now! !!
 
Thanks ladies :D.... Yeah I know it's a tough time but tbh starting needs to happen now! It's been 9months since the birth of my daughter and I must start shifting these 11 kgs. All of our family live across the country side it's just the four of us this year and I dont plan on having a big lunch/dinner. Having hot weather Xmas time helps I think as you're not as hungry.

No luck with the gym today as the kids are at home, I might do some sit ups and squats tonight.

Aim for today is an apple at some point and 2+ltrs of water again.

Oh a London break (dreaming.....) Is it looking like snow for either of you this Xmas over there?

2 truffles (bugger I cannot wait for these to be finished!) 100

Strangely even though my cals are too high (ideally would like to do a week of 1500) I don't feel heavy and bloated.

No snow. ... I'm kind of glad though because I hate driving in it!

Don't stress too much about the calories this week. ... I've stopped counting til next Monday because I don't want a diet to spoil my Christmas!

Do you use an app to track your water? I aim for 3l a day but only manage it if I track it! !!
 
Well I had a lovely Xmas and pleased to say that I didn't calorie count and enjoyed myself. :) Even pleased to say that Ive lost weight!~!! YAY!!

Ive been crap with my water today. But stoked that I got 2 gym sessions in last week. It's a little mad in my house ATM as my 9.5 month old girl got Hand Foot and Mouth about 4 days ago and today the doc said hubby has it! Fingers crossed my nearly 3yo avoids it and myself.

Hoping to get back into the water and calorie counting tomorrow. ... Hmmm Blubex what app do you use to track your water?

Well done on losing over Christmas. ...I don't weigh until Thursday so won't know until then what the damage is! planning on being goodish over the next couple of days!

I'm on android, the app I use is called water your body.... You can track your weight in there too :)

Thanks for dropping in Becky. Little girl has been sick for a two weeks with Hand Foot and Mouth (blisters everywhere)!!... Then the inlaws for a few days. Pleased to report I've dropped weight though. i have a total loss of 2.5kgs in about a 3 week time frame. needless to say I'm happy :D

I'm ok Thanks, struggled to get back into it after Christmas bit feeling pretty focused now. ... off to the gym in a minute! !! x
 
Omg..... it’s been soooo long!

Returning as of now and kicking the kgs to the curb starting tomorrow 🤛🏻.

I’ve about 11 kgs to loose - ideally by June.

So I’m off to a cracking start this morning with a coffee, half a mango and 1 Alice of avocado on toast 👌.

Water is the key today aiming for 2ltrs. Also a gym workout in the home gym hopefully before it gets too hot and whilst I still have the momentum 😂.

Two weeks untill work resumes and I cannot wait as the routine of work allows for me to stay on plan. I bet many people feel the same way.

So glad to be back and here’s to goal weight by Mid June 2019 of anywhere close to or below 71kgs. That’s a BMI of 24.5 and a size 12.

So the aim is for 1250 cals per day and so far its been;

Sunday 1750
Monday 1571

Still not diabolical and for the most part (75%) healthy. Steps are on track as too water (1.7ltrs average), but I would like to up that a little more. Exercise is average tbh, just a few walks with the family here and there.

Tomorrow, I am aiming for 1350 with my cals. I always find it easier to work my way down as so my body/mind doesn't revolt. Looks like tomorrow I should be nearly there. Although a busy day running errands with the kids in the back to school year item madness!!
 
Fingers crossed for a good day today and being closer to the 1250 mark.

Just jumped on the scales and I’m down again, so totally motivated to smash out today. Don’t think there will be any exercise as it’s going to be 39C! ☀️
 
Pleased to report a good day. Skipped breakfast (not my usually tactic) as I need to crack on with the kids and the new school year booklist (I made it out of the shops alive!). Calories were around the 1300 - 1350, soo happy!!!! Not sure about tomorrow as my mum is in town for the next two days before she heads off on a cruise.

No real exercise but I am aiming for 3 sessions a week on the Fitbit (walking, gym or cross trainer), one day done this week. Steps are usually in around the 15K mark, but today might only get up to 11K.

Got my BIL coming to stay this weekend so hopefully not too much alcohol before the Sunday WI. I would love to be under 80 in the next 9 days as thats when I all staff are back at work. Then I am off to camp for three days in about two weeks time and should loose then too.
