Monday - 13stone 9lbs.

My first fasting day and first day of the 5:2 diet, not as difficult as I thought it would be but I'm sure that will change. Going to record food and exercise for accountability so feel free to call me if I go AWOL which is likely

Finished on 443 calories

I am part of a valentine challenge as a weight loss goal so my goal for this diary will be to log for 100 days even the bad days!!

Had a lot of carbs, which worries me, usually when eating clean I am for less than 50g per day of carbs and day I trebled that I hope I still get a loss on Saturday....

How are you finding the fasting days? I've been tempted to try the 5:2 diet but I'm not sure how I'd cope on the fasting days - I'm cranky when I'm hungry lol! It sounds like you're getting results though, 4lbs well done!! x

I'm finding it okay, second fast day yesterday and I was fine. Survived on water and green tea all day then had a lush wrap for my dinner about 6pm. Went to bed at 9:30 in a bit I a huff because I fancied some chocolate but I'm sure after a week or so the cravings will go. It's my first time so the fact it's new to me is keeping me interested also, I would definitely recommend it xx

I bet the diet is making you really appreciate your evening meal!! I'm not sure how important it is to eat the full 500 if you're not feeling faint or anything by being under I can't see the point of eating for the sake of it.

Once I'm used to staying within my 1200 cal goal I might give the 5:2 diet a try, I don't think my will power is strong enough yet! x

Yeah see how you go, I work a 9-5 and I'm out visiting tenants most of the day so it's pretty easy to avoid plucking while I work but this weekend will be the decider haha x
