Hi everyone, I'm new here, starting my new regime tomorrow . Haven't been on the scales for a long time and dreading ir but I will weigh in in the morning and then once a week after that, probably on a Saturday. I plan to stick to around 1800 calories a day but may throw in some fast days and will adjust calories accordingly. I am going to have only 500 calories tomorrow in the hope of kick starting things. Need a good shake, I've been at this weight loss malarkey for far too long!
 
And so the rest of my life begins. I got on the scales and while it wasn't good at all it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I'm going to fast today, Asda shop should be here shortly with lots of healthy food for the days I'm not fasting. Feeling good!
 
Tomorrow will be a difficult day without much control, hence the fasting. My son has decided he is cooking for the family, 3 courses, will be impossible for me to count, especially since he won't tell me what we're having!!
 
It was a calorific day indeed. No idea what the count was but it involved salted caramel tart and potato and celeriac gratin with double cream....

So exercise wasn't bad and I'll aim for a 500cal fast again tomorrow.
 
Didn't update yesterday but all good. 6.64 miles walked, good bit of chocolate eaten but could have been worse! Fasting again today and I'll weigh in tomorrow although Mother Nature might have a hand in weigh in this week :-(
 
No I don't, I think that would defeat the whole purpose. I suppose I might need to when I get closer to goal but at the moment it works fine for me not to.
 
4 pounds off this week so pleased with that. Saturday is an all you can eat sort of day (within reason) so I plan to enjoy that and then back to normality tomorrow.
 
Very dodgy couple of week and I'm back to square one. I'm going to do a lot of juicing this week and see how I get on and fingers crossed I'll get rid of most of the gain soon.
 
Feeling really good today, feeling in charge of myself! 1 hour walk done with the dogs, water with lemon consumed, will have a smoothie shortly.

Be careful with juicing (especially if this is all your consuming!) I did a juice diet a while ago and although I lost 12lbs in one week.. it all came back and then some the week after.. ;)

You're doing very well! Keep up the good work!!
