Wednesday weighers!

Any other Wednesday weighers??? X

I'm a Wednesday weigher and would love to join you:).
I had been doing slimming world and put on 3 lbs last Wednesday and I have decided to calorie count as I tink for me this is the only way I will lose any weight - well we shall see on Wednesday anyway.
 
Welcome to cc I couldn't recommend it enough! I've lost 3st since September and feeling fab! Good thing about cc is u can do it for life!

Thank you. I have the app and I am using it too c.c however I am a bit of a techno phob and have not figured out how to use it for anything other than c.c. I will have to have a play around on it :)

Well done - you have waved goodbye to another 1.5lbs.

I have lost 4.5 lbs - I think that may have been due to water retention rather than actual fat. First week of C.C. No longer classed as obese :D

Stayed the same :/ was going to happen cos I had a binge afternoon yesterday. I say binge, really i made a shake up for yesterdays lunch and when i got round to drinking it, it tasted disgusting!! dont know if some of the ingredients went a bit funny so absolutely starving i ended up at mcdonalds, had a chicken deli sandwich sounds ok till i made it a meal and ate the fries :( then when i got home i had a bag of maltesers! But rubbish cos I had some really good gym sessions last week but they didn't show up cos of yesterday. Hoping next week will be better but this weeks been half term so haven't been able to get to the gym :(

Hopefully your hard work will show up this week. Staying the same is ok, although your post did make me laugh - when falling of the wagon we may as well do it in style. I did something very similar on Thursday I found a well hidden box of choc's and before my sensible head said put them back I ate four in quick succesion and as I had started I finished with a bag of crisps :eek:.

Getting a bit confused cos mfp not showing my right weight I've either lost 1 or 2lbs lol. Loss is a loss and I need to stop jumpin on the scales when it's not Wednesday!!!

How have you done?? X
 
Well done on your loss:). The inbetween lb loss can be banked for next week, when hopefully you will get a clearer picture.
I've lost 2 lbs this week- happy now that tummy has started to go down and I can sleep on my front. I levitated everytime I tried to sleep on front before:D.
 
Hi KayaM Do not mind me asking but how many calories do you eat, i too have been doing sw for 13 months still only at nine pound loss, i am 5 foot 1 and currently 10.8 in weight, i have been on my fitness pal and it says 1200 for me but other people say this is too low would welcome any comments i also do aerobics twice a week and toning exercises each day lol x

I don't mind at all. I am eating anything between 1000 to 1400 per day - guess it averages out to about 1200 over the week. I seem to zig zag with my calorie intake not intentionally but just happens. I tend to follow a typical SW green day diet but log all the calories. You can calculate how many calories you need on this calculator - there are many versions but I used this one
Daily Calories, How many Calories do I need, BMR, Basal Metabolic Rate | Tesco Diets
As we are petite in height we don't need as much as 2000 calories as others taller than us would. For me I get a recommended daily allowance of 1700 cals per day to maintain my current weight and by decreasing my cal intake by 500 per day should mean that I lose approx a pound a week. SW was not working for me as although I was following the plan I would still eat more than the 1200 cals I needed too lose any weight.

Many thanks for that i have been averaging about 1275 to 1300 this week see what happens on wed when i weigh in, i just think on sw the tendency is there to overeat i have really been struggling good luck x
 
I have done the link you sent it says 1402 resting metabolic rate and daily calorie requirement with light exercise is 1963, so if i eat about 1400 will i lose am i reading it correct x

In theory yes - if you excersied each day and ate 1400 cals then you should be losing approx a pound a week. See how you get on over the next few weeks and if you do find that the pounds are not shifiting then adjust the cals or step up activity.

This week not been a particular good week for me - couple of cheat meals and a BBQ at the weekend. Not expecting a loss tomorrow.
