Another thing I found recently, the sachets of Oxo gravy granules are only around 22 calories per 100ml made up as per pack instructions. It's so tasty, I had the beef one with shallots and berries the other night and omg, so much tastier than the usual stuff. I put it on venison sausages (tesco finest, 3 come in at 180 cals, bargainous!) and it felt like it should've been very calorific, but wasn't at all.

Also, half a pack of the tesco finest mashed potato is only 175 cals. Very nice, and great to have in for quicky, easy dinners, and you get a fair amount of it.
oooh, I'm off to Tescos now so I'm thrilled to see your post. What berries did you add to the gravy?? I've not had the venison sausages yet..but they're on my list, I've never seen them before so I hope my store stocks them.
Tesco finest mash is delish...and super super easy to heat up
    xx jo xx

Used to be super slim, stopped smoking, ate too much junk food, piled on 6 stone, lost 4 stone on Cambridge Diet, then fell off the wagon and stuffed myself silly, gained back the 4 stone lost and 2 more for good measure!

Hoping to at least start calorie counting soooonish, before getting back onto ww

Hiya It's just an Oxo beef gravy sachet, it says something like beef with shallots and winter berries (lol). Very nice! And I'm thinking again, it might not have been the finest mash I got, think it was the tesco maris piper mashed potatoes

    Happy eating, lol

Nomnom I had a beef &lentil stew tonight came in at 250cals and was yummy. Just casserole beef, stock, tomato puree, tin of toms, assorted veg (pumpkin, leek, mushroom), 1tbsp brown sugar, bay leaf.

Other calorie bargain I made were apple & cinnamon muffins. 150calories each and they're decent size. Not much sugar in them in comparison to the size, but there's loads of apple in them which gives the flavour. Yuuuuuuummmmyyyy!
