Running is great, i started alone after new year, and now run with 4 local people who are just starting running. Its great because when i say i will be 1/2 hour thats exactly what it is, if i go to an exercise class I live 15 mins from my local town, do an hours class turns very easily to 1 1/2 hr to 2 hrs. It costs petrol to get there and the cost of the class too. Running is free and I go 3 times a week. You will get back to your cycling soon x

Very true running is free, I really should try and make the effort a bit more. Once the night start pulling out I will be able to get out more.

I hate the price of petrol, I try not to use my car as much as I can, but then that means taking my youngest out in the cold, so i then use the car, can't win can you!!! Lol

Price of petrol. OMG. I drive for a living and fueling my car takes a massive chunk of my money.
But when I'm home I try to use my car as little as possible.
The nights are starting to draw out now, it won't be long before you are zooming around on your bike

Can't wait for the summer! What do you do for a living. I'm not working ATM, I will go back when my daughter does to school , don't want her to grow up, I happily keep her at 3 forever!

Don't blame you Rachel, I am a driving instructor, my children are 5 and 8, so I work around school hours but my hubbie has just been made redundant so am having to work longer hrs at the moment.
I stayed at home with my daughter but I HAD to start work before my son went to school, but I have been so so lucky mum had him one day a week and my mother in law had him 2 days , and he was in nursery one day, couldn't afford child care

If it wasn't for the fact that child care is so expensive I would have gone back earlier. I could have coped with the normal nursery fees but it's my others school holiday fees that does it.

I did consider training to be a driving instructor but my sense of direction is horrendous lol. I get lost in my own village. I took my dogs to the woods near us 2 weeks ago and it took me 2 hours to find my way out, I was really panicking lol I'm terrible!

Thank you , hope you do to.

My poor dogs slept for 2 days solid after that walk! My OH id still taking the p*** out of me lol I have chihuahuas, love them to bits. They are far from handbag dogs though, they hate being carried

Love the look of kelpies, not ever really met one in the flesh though. Do they take much walking? Mine are happy with 20 mins round the block.

I bet they did sleep for two days solid, sounds like you walked their little legs off lol.
Toby doesn't walk any where he runs and runs and runs, you could walk him for 12 hours a day and he would still want more lol. I take him twice a day but he needs plenty of mental stimulation otherwise naughty thoughts enter his head and gets himself in trouble ! He's still a puppy tho.
He is mums boy, much to my hubbies annoyance, we lost our lab last year and he was dads boy!
I think dogs should be dogs, this handbag fashion stuff is awful ! But then on the other hand if they are well loved and properly looked after they get more than alot of dogs out there!

Love big dogs. We had a Dalmatian, we lost him last year to. Would really love a Boston terrier next. Sounds like he keeps you busy, would love to be able to walk with mine for miles x

My Sister has a rottie, it's the softest dog I've ever met, very nice dog.

    How did your student do?

Loads of snow here, I'm just taking Izzy out to play in it now, she's been asking all morning lol

She passed thankfully, I don't think her nerves would of stood up to taking it again!
Still no snow here, as much as I don't want any cos I can't work in it, I would like to see how Toby enjoys it
