Hi All 
I'm having trouble sticking to the plan at the moment. I started calorie counting and using MFP in July, lost almost 3 stone by new year. Even lost 4 pound over Xmas. But the last few weeks have gone completely off plan and gained 5 pound. Gutted 
I just think I challenge could spur me on to get back on track as I don't want to undo all my hard work.
Maybe a ten week challenge by first week of April. does anyone fancy it?

I think this is a great idea! I'd also like to suggest that we use this thread to post pictures of clothes we're going to wear once we reach our goal and things we're looking forward to doing and ways we're looking forward to our lives changing. I suggest we state them in the positive, i.e. 'I am looking forward to...', rather than 'I am glad this WON'T be the case anymore' - for example:
I am looking forward to wearing a beautiful, red dress which is fitting and shows off my slender curves
Instead of
I am glad I won't have to wear clothes to hide my fat anymore.
Because the first one focuses you on what you want, and the second one focuses you on what you don't want. I think this would be very inspiring thing to add to the thread - what do you reckon, lumlum1986? I ask because you said you're needing something to 'spur you on', but to me spur you on is like someone coming and kicking you up the butt to get moving, whereas being inspired is being excited about what you want and knowing you have the power to get there...it's going forward, towards something, instead of away from the person doing the butt-kicking (which is usually the critical self-talk doing the butt kicking, and no one deserves that!). So my suggestion is to use this thread for a 10 week goal AND talk about what inspires us in the way I suggested...what we're excited about going forwards towards, instead of the butt-kicking spurring...
I've added myself to the list - hey, lumlum1986, we're almost at the same weight!
And I've picked the same goal to lose in this challenge as you

Also, this is what's inspiring me at the moment...I've fallen in love with rockabilly-style clothing...you know, the 1950s style? I've found some really nice online stores which I've bookmarked & I go and look at the clothes they have there almost daily...I'm saving up some money so when I reach my goal mid-2013 I can treat myself to some sexy, new clothes! Stuff like this, which really looks good when you have (when I will have!
) the figure for it...

So, does that mean you're going to lose 11lbs by then? I tend to think in kg not stone but I think I've calculated that properly...12st 7lbs is 175 lbs and 11st 10lbs is 164lbs - right? That's what I've put you in as, please adjust if I mixed up the maths
