    Talking two stone to lose??

    Hi all!

I notice there are a lot of threads about being in a certain stone bracket and wanting to get down one, but I didn't see one about having a certain amount to lose. I noticed yesterday that I pretty much have about exactly two stone to lose to get to my goal weight.

Does anyone else have two stone or thereabouts?

I am aiming to lose this in fifteen....well, fourteen and a half now...weeks. What do you think of this?

Has anyone else here lost two stone? How did it go?

    SG

PS I am doing this by having 1200 cals a day (using MFP to track) and eating back most of my exercise calories....I usually go for a couple of nice walks each day so I end up eating about 1300 - 1450 a day on average but still 1200 once I take the exercise cals off. I also have a waitressing job some evenings each week which is pretty physical and I don't enter that in MFP as 'exercise' so it's extra calories I burn off.

I have 2 stone to lose as well and I'm also really trying to get healthier habits generally. I have a week's holiday at Easter which I had thought I'd be slim and lovely for but I haven't done a thing. Yoyo dieting and binging. So yes I'd love to join you and move some blubber. Easter hol is going to mess with it but I should get started now to limit the damage. I weighed last Thursday so I know 2 stone is roughly the target. I'm on holiday again in July - ah tis a hard life! - but that one's the one where my white flesh needs to go into a swimming costume and if I'm this size then I will be utterly miserable and self-loathing. Can't have that!

Hello and welcome to our 'two stone to lose' club, ellemcphersonsuglytwin, gracefruit, Iwant2beasize12 & ukheather!

We can *all* do this. It doesn't matter if we have an off day or evening. It doesn't matter if the scales stay the same for a few days. What matters is that we keep focused on the goal and keep moving towards it! Zeno was wrong...if you move towards something, no matter how small the increments, you *will* get there! And two stone will come much quicker than we all think. I'm wanting to reach it by June 28th, in 13.5 weeks. However, even at a rate of one pound a week, you would still get there in six months. Imagine being two stone lighter in three to six months! Won't that feel *lovely*? Let's do it! We can all support each other. Let this be a place of positivity and support for the TWO-STONE-LOSERS!!! (that's us).

I was at 29 lbs to lose the weigh-in before last (2 st, 1 lb). I now have 27.5 lbs to lose (1 st, 13.5 lbs). Please feel free to post and share your own, personal updates here, so you can be supported and cheered on!

    Of course you can! Welcome
If 1200 is a bit tricky for you, have you considered upping the calories you eat each day?
How did you come to the number 1200? Did you work out your BMR and TDEE? 1200 might be a bit low for you...

    Check these threads out:
http://www.minimins.com/calorie-coun...uld-i-eat.html (The answer to "How Many Calories Should I Eat?")
http://www.minimins.com/calorie-coun...ories-day.html (Anyone else around 1300 calories a day??)

They might help with your calorie number choice.

Good luck and remember to pick something which is sustainable (something I'm learning...I've just upped my calories to 1350 with an emphasis on healthier eating).

I have started rosemary conely FAB diet which is 1200 cals for 14 days then 1400 for another 14 days you then work out your TDEE and have those every day I am finding it a struggle! I do body combat and body pump about twice a week so will probably need to eat more really. Thanks for the reply xx

I'd like to join please - I have 2 stone 5lb to lose. That would take me to a small size 12 & the lowest weight I've been as an adult. I sustained it for over 2 years before taking my eye off the ball!

I've beat myself up in the past aiming for 3 & 4 stone so that I can be a size 8 but I've recently looked at photos of me at 10 stone & I look really happy & healthy. It's a weight I've been so can imagine myself there rather than some as yet unachieved 8 stone weight!

Sorry for the ramble, consider me added in. I'll aim for 16 weeks to target x

Welcome to you and your rambles! Rambles are welcome here!

Two stone...such an elusive amount...or is it? plod, plod, plod. Plodding along

1 st, 12.89lbs left for me to lose. That's 12.2kgs. Silly numbers, why can't they all just go away?

    Hi girls,

I have about 2 stone to lose, maybe a bit less depending on how I feel.

I'd love to get to 8st 2, which is when my body fat calculator and BMI would be perfect (I'm only 5ft). Currently down to 9st 13 from 11st 7lb. Taken since November so slow and steady!

First target is nine stone and ill see how I feel/look by then.

Hoping this next stone comes off same rate really as have never had a gain since CC, so it obviously works for me.

I'm going to turkey end of August and would like to be body happy ( as much as poss!) by then... Long target date for me but hopefully achievable.

    Good luck everyone
