Anyone with a lot of weight to loose here? 6 stone plus??

I've around 8 stone to loose. So a very long journey for me. Lost 8 stone before in 6 months on lipotrim shakes but within 1.5 years I'm back up 8 stone again. I'm convinced its because I couldn't train my brain to eat heathy during the shakes and that's why it's back on. I'm currently a size 28. I'm 32 and long to have my own children. I'm not getting any younger so need to loose weight to help me conceive naturally as we have been trying for 9 years had all the tests and they can't find anything wrong so put it down to my weight. So I need to do this! Plus I want to get the wedding booked after I've lost 3 stone. That's my first goal 3 stone = a booked wedding for 2014 :)

Anyone else with ALOT to loose ?
 
I had 102lbs to loose. Did lose 54bs but after two horrid weeks of being a total pig I've now got 54lbs to lose cause I've gained 6lbs. :-( still not 100% committed at the moment. Can't seem to get back into it. Grrrrrr. Good luck with your journey. Hope I can get some inspiration from you xxx
 
Hiya Vicky! I started off with 9-10 stone to lose and have lost 8 stone so far in 18 months. If you look under Slimming Clubs there's a sub-forum especially for those of us with a lot to lose. It's known as WeMITTs (We Mean It This Time), and you'll find lots of others on there with large amounts to lose. Hope to see you over there - all the best. :) xx
 
Hi Vicky, I had 7 stone 4.5 to lose when I started in Jan, now have 5 stone 9 to lose. Like you I've lost and gained weight over the years but this is the longest I've stayed properly focused :) I'm from Notts originally too!

Hey my goal is 8st also. After two kids my weight has not changed and ive got a really bad belly apron!! Lol. Anyway Im doin 5:2 but still calorie counting. Good luck.with your journey dont think.of the long hall but of the little steps that will get us there xx

Thank you! It has - a stone was pregnancy weight but now I weigh a stone less than i did when I fell pregnant. I am still plodding through, its slow gping for me but its going in the right way xx

wow well done all off you last may i started at 27st 11lbs came on here a little lighter now 22st 3lbs still want lose about eight stone but little pounds make stones and im in it for life no going back now good luck everyone

I have over 10 stone to loose to get to my goal weight, i am in this for the long term! xx
 
It can be done!

I now weigh 7st 3lbs (can't update my stats on the left as I use my phone).

I lost about 8 and a half stone in total. My goal was 9 stone but once I was in the swing of things it was easy to get to 8 stone and since then I've not been trying to lose, it's like my body has found its natural weight. When I eat more I gain a couple lbs but when I go back to eating normally it drops right back off.

In case anyone is also on a phone and can't see my height in my stats I am only 5ft tall so not underweight :eek:)

I just wanted to say good luck and I'm proof it can be done and I have been maintaining for nearly a year now (nearly 2 years since I hit my original goal of 9 stone) so if you learn new habits it can stay off.
 
Is this your first week? and what diet are you following? I think I've done the big diets - weight watchers, slimming world but calorie counting works best for me - once my cals have gone that's it - this time I have started exercising immediately and i think its helping but its also making me feel a lot happier x
 
I am a newbie lol, starting today. Doing Exante diet as tried most calorie counting but somehow gets it wrong and never actually reach my weight loss target. So hopefully I would be able to with this one. Once I reach my target I would just eat healthy and exercise. I do TaeBo and have lost 2.5stone but struggling to shift more weight off.
