So...... how "bad" were you????

Let's just say, I'm not at my maintenance weight any more! :p BUT.... I now know that I have the willpower, grit and determination to get back on the wagon and re-lose so I'm just enjoying a little of what I fancy for a few days (and no, I haven't updated my stats as it is only a temporary blip). Christmas is the only time I allow myself to indulge so I'm not giving myself a guilt trip.

Did you remain strict, or let your hair down???

Totally relaxed, lol. Third Christmas on this journey, and I've done the same each year - Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day completely off the leash, no MFP! So far today I've had fresh bread, thickly buttered, about 100g of chocolate, mince pie and stollen with extra thick raspberry and white chocolate cream, and two big cookies. So that's breakfast, lunch soon!

Well, you did ask how bad we'd been...... :O xx

I was horrendous & after 4 weeks of very low carb I hit the carb train & managed to gain 10lb in 9 days!! Its the first christmas in 3 years I have had off though so I am not beating myself up. 6lbs of it has already gone so I am not too bothered now, I did it, end of

Was bad!! too much chocolate, food and drink but I was way under my goal weight anyway and the 5 pounds I did put on has come off again need to try now to stay the same dont really want to lose more weight am only 5ft 2 but am now only 8st.. on the other hand I quite like being this size and dont really want to get any bigger either my mum forked out on new kingsland breeches that are a size 6!! so errr whats the trick of staying the same? :p prehaps eat loads on my gym days?? :p

I was bad! I've been swithering between calorie counting and slimming world for the past few days and as a result, I've not been doing anything... but that stops tonight. Tomorrow I'm going back to calorie counting - MFP with a vengeance!

I officially climbed back onto the wagon on Monday. Resumed my 5:2 and the low-cal, mod-carb and CC regime that got the weight off me in the latter half of last year. Lost 4.5lbs since Monday which I know is just retained water from eating too many carbs. Means that I only have 3.5lbs to lose now to be back at my maintenance weight and that doesn't seem so bad. My target is to be back on track by Valentine's Day so I have a little over a month to stick to the plan.....

i put on 3 1/2lbs, not christmas but over the weekend where it was such terrible weather. we had flooding (unheard of here) and was stuck in doors with nowhere to go, nothing to do. it was boredom basically lol

ive since lost 1 1/2 with 2 to go

myfitnesspal helps so much!

Hi, I was very bad in December, I had some Christmas parties and then I went on a 2 week Caribean cruise, I put nearly 1st on. But I got back on my calorie counting on the 2nd January and have lost 5lb so far.

I've not been brave enough to get on the scales yet, but I fell off the wagon into a bottle of baileys and a box of short bread!!!

Been back on plan for a week and re-quitting sugar is killing me, but I will get there!

Will get back into the gym after January... I hate gyms in January!!!

Well done for getting back on plan people!!! Xxx

o yes saying that i do mine at home now x

Oops, we went for a curry yesterday and whilst I had chicken tikka (breast meat, no sauce) and salad and about half my portion of rice, I did relent and have a rather yummy plain naan bread (they are just SOOOO lovely!) Then came home and spoiled it even more by having my Sunday evening glass of Bailey's - a weekly event!! - and some Smarties. So whilst I don't think I ate enough to gain loads, I know I'm retaining extra water to process all those carbs!!! So my final tally for the week was 2lb after all.

Still, fasting again today and have also run 4km (I never usually run on fast days!) so hopefully that has made a good start to the week for Janey....

Ran another 2km at lunchtime and this morning I am back to the same weight I was last Thursday again - so only 4lbs over my target at the moment. I bought a lovely pair of size 10 Gap jeans in a charity shop this morning and was moaning at lunchtime to my husband because they're too big.... then I caught onto myself and realised I should be REJOICING because size tens are TOO BIG!!!! Funny how being 4lbs over my target makes me feel fat and ugly. Just coz I have 3 pairs of jeans that are uncomfortably tight at the mo. Yet my boss told me "don't lose any more weight" yesterday so it clearly doesn't show..... it's all in the mind.....
