28 weeks - 28lb - new year - new me - whos with me????
OK, so every night i go to be and say tomorrow will be different, I will get my eating habits in order, but yes you've guessed it i never do, hence my post.
i really want to change my ways and feel a little support along the way will make all the difference.
my weight is creeping up an i want to get it under control now. It seems and impossible mountain to climb, however everything begins with little steps, and so my journey begins.
i haven't actually told anyone about my plan to loose weight so therefore can't expect any support from friends and family. I guess this is because of fear of failing.
My aim is to loose weight steadily about 1lb per week through eating healthy and calorie counting.
hopefully this way friends and family will not notice huge changes in my eating habits and my fears of failing wont be exaggerated.
So as my post says who's with me???? I feel that weight loss buddies will keep me on track and spur me on with my personal challenge.
I intend to keep a daily food diary and weigh myself on a Wednesday which I hope will also keep me on track.
Any hints or tips which will help me with my weight loss challenge would be greatly received so i really can be the BELLE OF THE BALL.
i have also posted this under introduction as new to this and wasn't sure quite where to post.

Thank you for your support, and congratulations on your loss so far.
Food diary for day 1
breakfast - Quaker oats porridge - 300ml no added sugar orange squash.
snack slice white toast 300 ml no added sugar squash
lunch ham roll 400ml no added sugar squash.
tea lasagne 400ml no added sugar squash
so far so good no crisps sweets or chocolate, my kids will be pleased there's some snacks actually left in the house to eat. Strange thing is I'm really conscious when it comes to my kids and sugary snack, just don't apply those rules to myself, really need to get some self control.
any tips, support and buddies along the way would be appreciated to keep me motivated.

probably haven't drank as much fluids as I would have liked to but I will improve on that tomorrow.

Looking at my lovely wedding photos, I maybe a few years older now but I'm determined to have that figure again.

That sounds great, will be good to check in, nearly half way through my first week, hopefully by Wednesday my weigh day I will have reached my first goal and lost 1lb. (Little steps climb mountains).

Ok, so i realise i wont keep up with logging a daily food diary but am gonig to stick with logging my weight on a wednesday so i can track my progress.
I'm definitely in on this.
I have more than 2 stone to lose but that would be a good goal for the remainder of this year. I started last Wednesday so will weigh in on Wednesday morning and report back.
I also need to concentrate on fluid intake, I am AWFUL at drinking anything. My usual daily fluid intake consists of 2-3 cups of tea and sometimes a can of coke. I have had 2 cups of tea and a 250ml glass of water so far today.. really need to drink another glass of water before dinner time.

Morning all, I did it. Lost a pound, I know it's only a small loss but I am happy.

I am reporting a 3.5lb loss (was showing as 5.5lb yesterday but hey ho!) I am having an 'off day' today as I have had lunch at school with my little girl, then I am at parents eve 4-5/30 with my oldest son. It will be too late to cook anything by the time we get home so I will stop at the chippy on the way home. IF I can manage it and am not too frazzled from parents eve, I will leave off the chippy myself and sort myself something once the kids are all eating... Depends on how I am feeling once I get out of there!!
I will definitely be full on back on track from the morning though - determined.
