    period advise

    Hi,

I have had a bad time on diet after having 2 weeks off and gaining a massive stone I am now back on track. I am on the pill and my period is always regular and on time....but I am 2 days late and wondered if this can be caused by the on/off diet thing? I am def not pregnant and made 100% sure by taking 2 tests. Any advise please?

Mine has been completely haywire. Random days..then gone, back in monsoon quantities within 2 weeks of the last one.

You've checked for the obvious. Bodies are funny things. I wouldn't worry

are u on pill? I know normal periods can be messed up by diet etc, but I always thought whilst on pill you'd always have a period regardless

I'm on the patch..which is the same hormones just you take a dose everyday..I get the same dose but in slow release each week.

Previous to this..and whilst doing CD before, I've been on the implant, pill and depo injection.

Same story though....always crazy yukky girl stuff.

Hey Faith, wondered where you'd got to. Sorry to hear that you had a bad few weeks - it's easy to do, but at least you're on track.
I had the weekend off and put on 7lbs, but hoping it's water weight.
Try not to worry about the period thing, as I think it gets messed up with this diet.

thank you all for your reassurance(I worry so much so its nice to have some)....I started my period today so am feeling more relaxed now...I think I carried a lot of fluid too as 1 stone in 2weeks is a lot of weight but I am back on track and looking forward to losing at this week's weigh in....am aiming for 2lb a week(doing 100 plan now)
