Step 1 Sole Source Not feeling the results?

anyone come to a weigh in and been genuinely concerned that youve not lost weight or inches?

I have been 100%, but i'm worried i'll have gained as i just dont FEEL like i've lost anything.....it looks a bit mental putting that on here now but i'm really panicking! :(

IS it just me?

I know what you mean, I've been feeling a bit like that. I've found that I have a massive weight shift at once.... Some days my weight doesn't change, then others I get on scales and I'll have lost about 4/5lb. I find a lot of diets that put you in ketosis have had a similar effect on me

It's just irritating the tricks your mind will play.

I lost 4lbs and 3" so I can't grumble

Current loss: 12lbs and 7.5inches

That's a good loss Lizz. But you're right. After the initial feeling that the weight is dropping off I find that sometimes I'm convinced I've not lost or out on! They're basically just fat days but you still have to get on those scales. You've done really well so far though.

I said to someone earlier I feel fatter today than I did 3 weeks ago before I started and they said I was mental. It's a mental block against the weight loss...I just don't see it yet.
Still have about 2 - 3 stone to lose so can't be complacent

Current loss: 12lbs and 7.5inches

I have a belt that I wore when I first started on the first hole. I'm now in the eighth hole. I won't buy another belt because it is physical proof to me that I am that much smaller and, on my fat days, not actually any fatter!

Psychologically though I feel a but meh at the moment you know like I felt better about myself a couple of weeks ago even though I've lost 4/5 lbs since the. It's just weird isn't it? But then I suspect everyone has those days at some point!

Wow that's impressive hun! That must keep you so motivated!!! :)

I hate the meh days. It makes it harder to stick to the diet. But it'll be worth it...right? Lol

Current loss: 12lbs and 7.5inches

Nikonian - if you've stuck to it you will have lost. When you get on the scales it will all be worth it x

That's amazing!!!!!!!! Well done, you must be so happy :)

Current loss: 12lbs and 7.5inches

Since I replaced my clothes I still feel like I look like a fatty. The skin didnt disappear so I still think ive the same overhangs in the same places. Im just wearing 10's and 12's now instead of 14's and 16's (and 18's or not at all in my favourite shops like Zara). Ive a hen in two weeks so I think im going to set a challenge for myself to walk 5km every day until then to tone up a bit.

In reality though my measures now are 36 30 36 using my own tape. I was 43 36 43 on wk 1 with my CDC so it has to be a spot of bit of dysmorphia.

I am exactly the same, I still have am 'apron' which makes me very sad but can't do anything about it (unless I have a spare 7k for a tummy tuck). But clothes do hide a multitude of sins even at a size 10-12.

Those Are superb stats hun and you can't fault the work you've done.

Don't think many of us even end up with a body to die for considering what we've put it through. Mine is a constant reminder of how much I advised food and never to go that way again

Current loss: 12lbs and 7.5inches

Im tempted to go body wraps but tge results dont last. What I need is hours in the gym but its not doable at the moment. A walk every day I suppose will be better than nothing.

That's a fantastic result! Maybe invest in an all in one body shaper underwear - I had one for £40 from M & S, but the one from Matalan for £15 is much better. Got it in nude and black. You could consider cavi tone lipo - they use ultrasonic technology to melt the fat and you lose fractions of inches instantly. If you burn the melted fat, it stays off. It's about £25 a time and a course of 6 is recommended. X

Ooooooh now that interests me! I'm going to need some assistance on the tonight that the gym won't fix so that could help :)

Oh please do hun! I'll look forward up knowing how you get on :)

Current loss: 16lbs and 10.5 inches

Kiwichan the only way to get exercise into a busy life is to find away to make it fit you rather than the other way round. So I walk the 2 miles to the station when I catch the train or get out at lunch time and go for a walk (a little jog if I know there's a shower!) leaving enough time at the end to have lunch. Gyms aren't my thing they smell bad and are expensive and I've tried them many times and they're boring. I've started doing a little routine in the morning. Only 20 mins or so but a light warm up followed by a tabata session (20secinds exercise followed by 10 seconds rest and repeat 8 times for 4 exercises) then a cool down and stretch. If you work hard in those 20 mins you know you've done something! I have a small waist (26 inches this is a new thing for me!) but I've started to get some definition, like there are actual muscles under there, who knew!

Whatever you do to tone up a bit try to find the thing that you enjoy and that fits with your life. 20 minutes in the morning sets me up for the day.
