    when are you checking? Its best to check 1st thing in the morning as the water drank during the day can dilute the test result xx

    ps the sticks dont work for everyone as long as you are sticking to the diet 100% then you will lose xx

    Sarahsunshine, it does get better. I was getting really down because I was not in ketosis after 3 days, 4 days, 5 days...I was beginning to wonder what was going on, but day 6 I started burning a lil bit. Not much at all, but then day 7 & 8 I've been on FIRE!! yeah. feeling much better now, so just keep it up. It will come.

    It took me 5 days to get to ketosis, the fur on my tongue is now long enogh to make a jumper with........... I think it was because I used to drink alot ( like a bottle of wine a day) so there was an awful lot of glycogent to get rid of ( not saying its the same for you) hang on in there and you will soon be bursting with energy.

    Lost 6lb before starting by low carbing
    Week one lost 4 lbs ( was a naughty little picker)
    Week two lost 1lb (TOTM and lost it big time)
    Week three GOAL 5lb lost 3lb
    Week four GOAL 4lb a stone a month!!! lost 1lb
    Pancake Day Challenge to get to 13 stone something achieved 11.02.09
    Good Friday Challenge to get to 11 stone something
    May Day to be in the low 11s
    May 16th 1st Anniversary to be 10 stone something
    May Bank Holiday to be low 10s
    End of June to be about 9.5
    See how it goes if I want to go lower
