    Heartburn - Lactose Intolerance?

I feel generally ok on CD with the exception of heartburn after each shake.

I've tried splitting each shake but the symptoms persist.

My friend says this is because I'm lactose intolerant!

Is this right? I can't find any info elsewhere and would be grateful for expert advice!

My son was lactose intolerant from birth until he was 2 and let me tell you, it was deffo more than heart burn...
He could projectile vomit over anything, and he only had to have the slightest amount of lactose before the symptoms appeared..
Were you ok with food before you started CD ?
There are a large amount of foods that contain lactose so if you have been ok with these then I don't see how it can be ..

But as the others have said - try the Lactose Free ones and see how you go... the chocolate orange shake is LF

    Hope this helps

There is a lactose free chocolate, and I think Mushroom soup and Chocolate Orange shakes are too.
