    Daft question, I know!!

Am new to this site....and have to say what a great resource it is!

Just started on CD today and have been trying to keep my mind off food by glugging water like crazy!

I have one question though, which completely went out of my mind when chatting to my CDC....I'm a bit of an insomniac (always have been) and often take a herbal nytol or two to get me to sleep. Checked the ingredients label and it lists hops and lettuce and all that stuff, but then at the bottom says 'contains sucrose'. Would this sugar content keep me out of ketosis? Or am I fussing over nothing, with it just being a tiny tablet?!!!

    Like I said, daft question!

    Thanks, Andy

I'm not sure about this, maybe a more experienced CDC can answer for you. Failing that give your CDC a call and ask her to phone the medical department.

Hopefully though someone will spot the question and be able to answer it for you

    Thanks Kath!

I'll ask my CDC....hopefully there shouldn't be any problem.

Now on day 2 of SS...had to go to the supermarket earlier to get more water (I just can't do tap!) and was so hungry. All I kept thinking about was croissants, bacon...in the end I had to walk down the aiseles, get the basics and be out of there quick!

Anyway.....back to glugging the water I managed 4.5 ltres yesterday....is this too much? My CDC said he used to average 5!

I already think i'm about to burst!

Ha I know how you feel, I was at the supermarket earlier today and it crippled me smelling that fresh bread baking I can tell you

Well done on your water that's great I always do at least 4 litres a day, I usually average between 6 and 8 litres a day but I'm 5ft 10 so taller than average. If you're shorter than that then I'd say stick between 4 and 6 litres a day

    Hiya Andy,

You might find you don't need to keep taking the Nytol as you progress on CD.
I used to take them, but now sleep far better than I ever have since I started SS the 1st time (about 2 years ago). I've never taken a sleeping tablet since!
Fingers crossed the same happens for you soon!
    Hugs,
    Jules
