Stop looking! Your losses are going to slow down x
You have failed only when you quit trying. Until then, you're still in the act of progression. So, never quit trying and you'll never be a failure.

I know what you mean! But your weight will fluctuate during the week as there are so many factors that affect it! Just don't be disheartened and look at the longer term goal......if you stick to the diet, it's physically impossible not to get there!

Some weeks you may STS, or only lose 1 lb. I think you need to start mentally preparing yourself for that now. Your motivation to stay on CD cannot be solely (or substantially) reliant on consistent daily / weekly results. CD doesn't work that way. It would be such a shame to let one week derail how far you've come already!

Doing this 100% is, as far as I'm aware (please correct me if I'm wrong) pretty much guaranteed to make you lose about 12-14lbs a month, presuming you aren't crazy exercising, drinking very little or close to goal. Just relax & trust it. One week I lost 1lb & the next 9lb. It would have been nicer more evenly spread out but that's totally out of your control so don't let it affect what you do.

    Week 11 - 6.5lbs
    Week 12 - 8.5lbs
    Week 13 - 2.5lbs
    Week 14 - 5lbs 4 stone3lbs lost!

    Hi Annie,

Are you doing sole source or plus? I also lost 1lb this week and only 2lb last week, so its good to know that you can get some bigger losses in the future!

This time I'm doing ss but did ss+ last time. Discussed ss+ with cdc and she said losses were generally the same. Just drink lots of water. Gods luck

Do you measure yourself as well? I find that a good help because even if the scales don't move you have seen a result

    Start date: 06/02/2012

    Week 1: -11lbs
    Week 2: - 4 lbs
    Week 3: -5 lbs
Week 4: -1 lbs TOTM and bring a bridesmaid
    Week 5: -3lbs
    Week 6: -3lbs
    Week 7: -3lbs
    Week 8: -5lbs
    Week 9: -1lbs
    Week 10: -4lbs

I'm Louise, I lost 6 stone on Cambridge SS and SS+ in 2009 but have put 5 back on so turning to Exante to loose 5/6 stone ready for my wedding on 28th of July x

(who lost 5 and a half stones on Cambridge between October 2007 and March 2008. Unfortunately, some of those stones have now found her again and the electric handblender has now returned to its rightful place behind the kettle...)

I agree with the other comments that suggest you need to mentally prepare yourself for slower losses. You have had two massive weeks, your body WILL NOT keep losing at that rate!

You've done great so far, just stick to your plan and it will work out!

ok, so I want to look fab when I get married later in year, and I want to kick my polycystic ovaries into touch so I can conceive!

5 wks down, approx 17 to go (based on 3/wk avge)

    wk 1....5
    wk 2....3
    wk 3....3
wk 4....sts (not by cheating )
    feb total 11
    wk 5....4
    wk 6.... watch this space!
